Can this be used to test pressure of my aircon without had canister connected

Yes I did this on my car ,but make sure the stop cock type valve that would attach to the can is fully closed to prevent escape of gas from system.

will this fit a xk8 jaguar

It depends on what year it was manufactered. Most likely yes as R134A gas was used regularly even in 2006.

Will this fitting locate on my 2015 qashqai

It should, unless your car uses the new r1234yf gas in which case you will need an adapter

does this work with the sealed cans you need to pierce ?

- For use in adding R134A refrigerant to vehicle with highly working performance.
