The photo shows a cart I had run for 2 and a half hours straight demonstrating just how little these new posieden carts gunk up........So being a big fan of the Cheyenne capillary textured needle cartridges I'm always on the lookout for parts that have outside of the box engineering to them this one seems like it might cuz I didn't get a good look at the tip before buying them and I presumed it was going to be an economical copycat but it's definitely not of similar design.When I first had a look at them, I mistakenly wrote the tips design off as purely aesthetic. Some sort of science is going on; A patterned series breaks beveled into it's shape which funnel the ink down into the tip to deliver admittedly unexpected yet functionally perfect ink delivery. Working with them I've completely forgotten about the collateral damage from inks spattering and mess that typically we have to deal with. My hands don't look like i work in garage after using them; it's just a non issue with these. I didn't even realize it until much later that I didn't have to clean a gunked up tip even once in my last session, they truly stand out.Compared to the Cheyenne capillary carts I use almost exclusively, theyre not quite the same.. they don't have channels cut to form a spiraling reservoir in the tip, but it looks like they might be the same at first glance. These posiedens function more like a forced induction system that causes a vortex effect presumabl. What they have is a series of grooves in stages cut into the tip that guide the flow down into the needle and what you get is a cart that doesn't spit, runs quiet it doesn't wobble or any of the normal offenders there's no drips at all and no clogs that form either. Everyone has different techniques but the way I work my experience was a perfect running cart without a single drip even one time it really holds ink well.My only observation of where they fall short and have a noticeableneed for improvement so far would be they just not quite as sharp as I would want them to be. They just don't hit like the Cheyennes I usually run with do. By no means are they dull but they hit with a certain sense of dullness to them that's a little bit more painful for me, noticeably so.This however in no way hinders them at all. Really, it could just be me.Now with that being said I've put down fantastic tattoos with them that healed right and look great after they healed they deposited ink very uniformly and healed with the same uniformity. I hate to admit it but some of the best work I've ever done has been with these carts. I mean it's kind of hard to say id switch up from those textured Cheyenne capillaries but these definitely are much more economical and they put down just as good of a tattoo, and it is nice not getting ink everywhere. Just get a few boxes and put em on standby for face tattoos or that neighbor who's tryna get half a sleeve for $20 bc it's mostly lettering & it'll only take me 10 mins to do apparently.

I have found that these needles hold up to the much more expensive brand I normally use. When I order a new product like this, it is best to not just jump right into using on people, so I can only rate them how they perform on the fake/practice skins I have been using them on.The cartridges out of the box are sealed well, I did not find any in the whole box that had punctured seals and were unusable. The needles were sharp enough to not shred the skin, and stayed sharp enough throughout the entirety of a medium sized tattoo without dulling. The ink reservoir in the cartridge hold enough ink that you won't have to stop every 10 seconds to re-dip it. Once I found the sweet spot for these cartridges, I had little to no splatter or overspray from too much ink or not the right voltage for my gun.

50 needle cartridges for $18 (at time of review) is a steal. I've never had issues with Poseidon needles. They come sharp, pick up and lay down ink exactly as expected. I really like that the different types of needles (liners, shaders, round mags, mags) are all color coded for easy identification. They perform exactly as expected. No complaints whatsoever.
