Great for hard surfaces.
Tiles are very soft and generally stay together well. They work best on hardwood floors or tile. I had originally put them in a room with a flatter carpet looking for extra cushion and they did not stay together well. The tiles would separate easily, especially when walked on often.

Fun for a month
I have for about a month, I wish to return it but my return just closed by a day. It was really fun for the month, used inside playpen but the tiles kept coming apart. I didn’t get enough to cover 71x79 playpen. The search continues to find a play mat for my playpen. The fluff flattens very quickly but with a little vacuum it fluffs again but it’s not as soft after a month used.

Great purchase
We love these foam tiles. We use them as a play mat for my daughter. They are easy to use and durable. You can even vacuum them! We have no problem with them sliding on the floor either.
