I did not use these cleaning tablets to clean a water bottle but I did use them to clean my stainless steel Yeti coffee cup. I drink strong black coffee and had never washed my cup out so the inside was completely black/brown with a sludge built up inside that I couldn’t scrape out or remove with a scouring pad. I bought these to see if they would work as advertised. I was unimpressed when they arrived in such a small container and the size of the tablets, due to how it appeared online. But I will say that big things come in small packages and I am grateful that they do not take up much space in the cabinet. I filled the cup up with hot water and placed two tablets inside and placed the lid on it. After leaving it for a little while, I poured it out and the inside of my cup looked brand new. I was amazed at how well they worked without any harsh chemicals or bad odor. The ingredients are food grade ingredients that will not harm you.

got these some years ago and was in the market for more and decided i should leave a review. these work really really well. i have not compared them to the camelbak brand bc they are expensive and have more harsher chems in them. i have not used theses in a cemalbak but i have used them in water bottles and coffee thermoses and theyre great so i dont think there will be any problem in a camelbak. the only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5 is bc they do not have single serve packets for in the field. these tabs are unfortunaly very crumbly. thats my only con. the diy fix is a small waterproof pill container with a cotton ball or 2 on the bottom, just a couple tabs, and a cotton ball or 2 on top.

These tablets are so convenient to clean my reusable water bottle. I saw a video about testing reusable water bottles after only having water in them; the results in the video were shocking and I knew I needed a solution for my personal reusable water bottle. This product solved my problem perfectly! Once a week I dissolve one tablet in my water bottle, fill fully with water, stir, then set next to my kitchen sink overnight. Then rinse in the morning.

My Camelback backpack was getting a little funky flavor to it so I bought these instead of the expensive name brand ones. I tend to leave excess water I didn't finish in the reservoir between uses. Not only am I lazy after a long ride/hike... but I believe that if I leave water in the reservoir/tube, in the absence of air, it is less likely to mold. Whether the case or not, leaving water in the bag gives it a little funky flavor after a couple use cycles. I plopped two of these in and let it sit overnight. It was good as new in the morning without the funk... will definitely buy again as we have two water backpacks that we use frequently.

I got these to clean out our Brevell coffee pot stains, as well as our travel coffee cups, and I did not notice any change after using. ETA: The seller offered excellent customer service. Even though I wouldn’t buy this product again, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this seller again.

I have a horrible habit of waiting several days to clean our water bladders after getting back from a long hike. In turn, they get funky much quicker than normally. My son was complaining that his water tasted “funny.” I tried it and agreed it tasted really nasty, kinda like sulfur water.. Got home from our hike and eventually cleaned out the water bladders (fashionably several days later) to discover his was slimy inside! Yuck! After scrubbing it with a brush and hot water, the slime still wasn’t budging. So I threw 2 tablets in it with some hot water, swished it around until the tablets were dissolved, and let it sit while doing bedtime with the kids. It sat for probably about an hour (you don’t have to wait that long, it’s just what worked for my schedule.) After emptying the water, the slime was all gone!!! I thoroughly rinsed it with warm water a few times, filled it with fresh water, and replaced the tube to try it. Tasted like the first few uses! There was no funky taste from the tablets or residue left behind.

These tablets are good for weekly maintenance not bad charcoal burn out messes ' Thus review is different as ---i use a plastic bottle of lemon juice - 3 table spoons along with the tablets weekly ... for an Ala Grande clean out !! After each distillation just get a plastic spray bottle filled with water and 20 % lemon juice spray on the stainless steel walls and bottom -leave alone 1/2 hour or if bad bad burn distiller scabs are present,, leave over night. The water mixture .. will wash out in the morning. The tablets nicely take care of any residue , stains, odors, quickly. pls read instructions... carefully,, great helpful product

I was tired of trying to jam water bottle brushes and other gadgets into drinking bottles to get them “clean”. My sister recommended this and she was not wrong. It works on old coffee stains - travel mug looks like new. And it’s great to have that peace of mind knowing that something you are drinking out is really clean. No unpleasant odor. Just clean.

I’m a lazy girl when it comes to cleaning my water bottle so it’s very helpful to be able to drop one of these in, give it a quick scrub with a bottle brush and be done in about a minute. Tablets may be an expensive way of cleaning but they are helping me keep on top of it.

I used to buy this kind of product before and was happy that there was a newcomer in this area. I bought and tried it, it does the job, but getting a big pack as I did, I thought it would last me a while, but the instruction advise you to use more that one most of the time, meaning that they are lasting not quite as long as I hoped they would. But nonetheless, the product works good, mixing it with a great kit of brushes, keeps the hydrapack clean and without bad taste
