This is SUPER cute! My son has been playing with it since it's arrived. Definitely do not let them use the burner on their own as even the lowest setting is hot. My son is 5 and autistic, obsessed with cooking and vegetables despite having a limited selection of foods he will eat. He made me eggs this morning, together. I am a bit afraid to turn the burner up more than the lowest setting because it's plastic surrounding the burner and could be a fire hazard. Do not keep it plugged in after it's cooled off for safety reasons.

The media could not be loaded. For the price, I guess I was hoping for a bit more. I got this for my son, who I have been trying to get into the kitchen with me. I want to teach him how to cook, but he is scared after a prior "catastrophic injury." Two years ago, he was burned by a tiny bit of butter splatter off the griddle when we were making eggs. It was a big deal to him and he brings it up every time I ask him to help me cook, as an excuse for why he can't.I was hoping this would help entice him back into the kitchen and I can honestly say it did do that. However, it's not exactly the fastest method for cooking. Not only is the pan only large enough for one egg at a time, but the hot plate doesn't get very hot at all. It took so long for the egg to even start cooking, I was worried it wasn't working at all and I had it up all the way! I even let it heat up for a while before putting the egg in the pan.It comes with a lot of accessories for cooking. They actually are pretty decent quality and the reason I gave this even 3 stars. The little stainless steel cookware is super cute and could probably be used for camping if you wanted to. It really does come with everything you would need to cook a wide assortment of dishes, it would just take a really long time to cook.I included a picture of the instructions on the bottom of the box. That's not the only set of instructions, but it gives you an idea of what they are like. It's not hard to figure out, honestly. Just make sure there is an adult present. The odor it's talking about is real and unpleasant. It does eventually go away, although I am not sure if I just got nose-blind after a while. It took so long to make breakfast with this set that one morning, I never want to use it again. So I cant comment on if it smelled the next time it was used or not. Thankfully, I guess I only needed it the one time, because my son is okay using the griddle and stove with me again! Now, the hot plate sits in the box and the rest was given to my 2-year-old toddler to play with.

These are made just for kids and they are perfect. They are nonstick, sized for little hands, easy to clean, and gives a full cooking experience to little ones. Oh how cute are these! This cooking set is well worth the cost for the value it gives kids. I love that its offered in pink or blue and every part is a small version of what parents use that will give kids experience and excellent learning skills.

Purchased for my 9 year old daughter, easy to use and she loves it. I only gave it a 2 because it didnt come with all the accessories it was supposed to have with it.

This set is amazing for young chefs! The tools are kid-sized but sturdy enough for real use, making it perfect for Montessori learning or kitchen bonding time. My child loved having their own safe utensils. Super gift idea for ages 8–12.

This makes for a great gift for all kids! All the pieces are decently constructed and it provides hours of entertainment. The hot plate can get a bit too hot so you have to be present and watching as they use it but it's much safer than allowing them to use the stove. Easy to use.
