I should have done this seven years ago!
I should have done this seven years ago! So I have a 2006 megacab and the driver seat looked great as it was leather but the comfort was terrible. Long drives made my right hip ache. I finally broke down and bought this foam and it is night and day difference. I look forward to driving my truck again. I did remove the seat, only four bolts 13 mm. Takes about five minutes to get it out. That includes electrical connections. I would absolutely buy it again. Watch the videos on YouTube as they were very helpful.

Great quality and comfort
The quality is great and the cushion is very comfortable. I think that the area where my electric seat adjustment controls should have been cut out from the manufacturer for this specific truck model considering it was ordered for the electric seat model. All seats of this type in the Ram 3rd Gen trucks have controls for the seat in exactly the same location so having the cut out done during manufacturing shouldn't be an issue and would save the customer the hassle of trying to get an exact cut without destroying an expensive new cushion.

Should've done this a lot sooner!
Install/Tips - Installed this yesterday in my 09 Ram 2500 with the cloth seats. Install took all of maybe 20 minutes, including vacuuming out all the old foam particles from the previous factory cushion. It does have a protective layer on the bottom to help prevent the metal frame from wearing away at the cushion unlike the factory one but I went ahead and lined the whole rail with a strip of adhesive velcro (the soft/loop side) for added precaution.Initial Impression/Quality - The new cushion fit very well filling in the cover fully without making the install difficult. I found it easy to get the clips snapped back onto the bottom rails if you press down on the cover/cushion in that area to give yourself a little more slack. My only complaint is that I feel like I sit up almost too high now but that's probably because I was used to sitting in a hole basically. The seat is now more comfortable and I don't feel like I'm sitting crooked on long trips.Final Thoughts/Value - I would definitely recommend to anyone with a worn out seat. It's a little expensive for essentially a piece of foam but it's not that much more than a factory replacement and it's designed to fix the issue of the rail wearing through the side bolster. Also an added bonus is that your carpet will stay clean without all the little foam pieces crumbling off any longer.

Back to a comfortable seat and side bolster support!
Definitely a huge improvement over worn out 14 year old, 107k miles leather 2006 Dodge Ram power heated seat. Wish I had done it sooner before the leather showed a tiny split. For 5 stars - mold a small hole for the heated seat wiring. Shouldn't have to hack into a brand new part ad guess at location. No harm to have the hole even for those not using it.No instructions. Not the easiest thing to manipulate into place, particularly the rear-most. Drew blood. Where gloves.Sits high as others have said but may settle in.Hard to engage the Velcro to give the seat its lines and shape. (Instructions?) Even tried a plastic wedge to stuff into the foam. Hopefully it engages over (sitting) time.A bit pricey (Markup) for what you get but fits a need and I made the choice to buy.

From Pain to Extacsy
09 RAM 2500. Cloth seat. I was able to install without removing the seat, in 45 minutes. Only tool needed was a Phillips #2.I am 6'6' 260#, since the truck was a year old the seat was becoming uncomfortable, at 5 years old painful. I added cushions, covers, The wife gave me one of those vibrating seat covers. All eventually failed to tame the pain. It got to the point that I would only drive it to haul or trailer loads for short distances.2 hours tops. I was going to replace the seat with aftermarket and came across this product. I decided to give it a try. I am ecstatic!!!!!!The seat is more comfortable than my new Ram 1500. Better than new. It supports my petite frame with comfort. I Want to drive my truck again.Time will tell if the dura foam will have longevity. But if it makes it past 2 years it will be better than the Factory cushion. Installation tip, as it came with no instructions. When applying the seat cover, start from the front and work the cover on, BEFORE locking the Velcro strips together.

Would have been a very nice seat cushion
This was a very nice seat cushion but it was lost and then damaged in shipping. Had 2 shipping labels on it! It took 2 weeks to get to me and was torn. I feel bad for the seller but I am done with it. Looks just like the one I bought from another business. More cushion than stock and had reinforcement to keep seat frame from damaging it.

Very supportive; hoping for long life; proper fit
I embarked on a seat cover replacement of my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 MegaCab using the LeatherSeats dot com premium leather package. The driver seat cushion (covered with grey cloth) had a broken down bolster (typical) and some other icky torn pieces. I ordered this seat cover based on the claim that it will be more supportive and last longer than the normal yellow type cushions you can buy. Time will tell. So far, the support from this cushion is incredible. I actually had to lower my seat height to account for the difference of the old broken down cushion and this one. The leather package seat cover did fit this cushion in case you are wondering if the dimensions of this product are true to the OEM. It appears to be.

I didnt know how bad my original seat really was.
Installation was a little difficult by leaving the back of the seat attached but still achievable. I had to cut a hole in the foam to accommodate the wiring for heated seats, but using the old cushion as a template took any guess work out of the process. The new seat is comfortable but raised my sitting height substantially, at over 6' tall it took some time to get used to as the seat adjustment is at its lowest setting. I do recommend this to others.

Replaced seat cushion and cover looks new
Looks great, just like the original. Not to difficult to install if you watch a few YouTube videos and pay attention to how you remove the old one. We did not have to take the seat out to install. We removed the old cover and pad, put a new pad in then the new cover. 2 people is really helpful, one person to push down on the pad so the other person can attach the clips on the cover. The seat cover required us to measure the old seat cover and cut a small area for the controls.

It’s ok
I wouldn’t call it a direct replacement for the leather seat in my Laramie. It seems larger than the original and I can’t get the Velcro parts to go down into the creases. I also feel like I’m sitting 4 inches taller. The hole for the heating element was not cut either. And had to cut out for the electric controls. It’s a quality product but for the cost I expected a much better fit. If my old cushion hadn’t fallen apart when I removed it I probably would have returned it and tried one of the cheap versions.

Top quality and much better support than OEM!
This is an EXCELLENT and much improved seat from OEM. I was a bit reluctant to dish out a seat bottom that had no reviews, but there were enough good reviews for similar seats for other models.I could not be happier. If you own a Ram with the standard mushy or worn-out seat, this is a must have upgrade. I could not be happier, and fit and finish are excellent. If you have electronic adjustable seats, just cut that section out (it is delineated) with a box cutter or similar knife, install, and you are good to go. It should not take more than 30 minutes, including vacuuming up all of the debris from your old seat cushion.
