Swatch Women's GW151 White Plastic Watch

When I received the watch, I liked it a lot. It is of medium size with very clear black numbers on a white background and felt great on my wrist. Very readable at a glance. However, after a month the watch failed to work. I replaced the battery but the watch still wouldn't work. The watch was shipped with a blank warranty certificate, but the warranty is only valid if the watch was bought from an authorized Swatch dealer. This dealer is not authorized so there is no warranty. Do not buy watches from this dealer!!!

I received this watch from Amazon last week, and just now noticed that another customer stated in a review that this watch is unusually loud. I couldn't agree more: The ticking of the 'second' hand of the watch was noticeable enough to generate comments about its loudness from people sitting near me at a meeting. The plastic band of the watch also has a very strong odor (for a watch!), but maybe this goes away in time. I suppose that depending on who you are, these things may or may not bother you. The watch is great in every other respect - the plastic band is very flexible and comfortable, the numbers and hands of the watch are easy to see, and the sheen of the plastic band is attractive - just beware that it has some properties that you might not enjoy or expect. Unfortunately, for me, they were off-putting enough to return the watch to Amazon.

Super watch, as a swatch collector - I need basic white and black. Tick is fine - I have 35 swatch watches. This style, this is the 5th color I have purchased. Durable, it pops, very cool, jazzy. Good communication w. seller.... Amazon needs to work on its packing technique, needs bubble on top and bottom of the case. Everything in order, original case, watch shows up in perfect working order to my eye. Haven't worn it yet - my watches must match my outfits. And why not? Life is short, if I run out of time, I just grab another swatch! so rock on sellers, great job - talking to me, putting me at ease, and following through on all my concerns as a collector. 5 star!~

My wife love swatch so I bought this as a gift for her, this is my second purchasedcoz I return the first one due to some issues, shipping damaged the watch case andabout the watch is very small its like design for children or with small wrist,I'm glad for amazon easy returns, They shipped the second item fast so I'm happyit did not reach 10 days just like my first purchased.My first order was placed in a cushion envelope at it end up broke the case,So far I'm satisfied with this order, they already put it in a box..

Terrible!!The band is made of plastic and is very, very stiff.It is totally uncomfortable to wear.I have one in black from the Swatch store and the band is made of rubber and is soft.

I purchased a Swatch because I have a 28 year old one that still works. The battery doesn't stay in the back which is the only reason why I am (finally) replacing it. I will only use it occasionally when my tag heuer is getting services - it's a fun, cheap, reliable alternative. My only complaint is that the band is really shiny. I thought it would be more matte rubbery plastic like the old ones.

nice looking, but plastic strap lasted for a year and I only wear it once a week! That's only 52 wears! Also, another minor complaint is that the plastic band is not comfortable, and not easy to get on and off b/c it doesn't bend easily. ONly cost $35 on amazon, but replacement straps are $12.

broke after the first month

I'm not big on fancy watches, this one is great - white in colour obviously, so goes with most outfits.I didn't really read much about the watch before buying it, so I was surprise to notice that the dial glows in the dark so you can see the time at night.Like most Swatch watches the tick is louder than most watches, but this isn't a problem unless you are a light sleeper and it keeps you awake :P (so it's probably worth mentioning that).This watch is packaged in the Swatch box and very nice, especially for the much cheaper price than listed on the actual Swatch Watch website.Fast delivery and well packaged.Thanks to the seller.

the watch is fine, and arrived well packed and disguised as a large book of limited value, which i thought was a good idea!take note however, that as it is a unisex watch, it is fine for men but on a ladies wrist ,especially a slim one, it may appear like big ben! but it is certainly well made ,and to replace the battery it seems you just undo a battery-sized screw to gain access. there is no need to prise off the back etc.

As expected, this is a fine product. Well made, looks good, fits well. The only reason I've not given it 5*s is because of the ticking. It's really really loud. So loud I can't keep the watch in the bedroom at night. I don't think we're used to analogue or mechanical noises these days so the moment there's any silence it's all you can hear.

Whilst this watch is well pried and fashionable on an male or female wrist, I was shocked when part of the strap clean broke off this morning as I put it on. When it arrived I did wonder whether the plastic strap would be a problem but assumed Swatch had considered this before launching an entire line with these straps. As a result I was careful to not use it in the shower (although it said it was waterproof), but very quickly the strap began to look worn at the hole I was using and today the part of the strap snapped off completely. Needless to say I'm annoyed at the lack of durability of this strap as I normally find Swatch straps to be very long lasting. Despite the small price tag I would not recommend this watch.
