Up and Mining in 10 Minutes – A Perfect Gift for Bitcoiners!
This little miner had me up and hashing in under 10 minutes — seriously impressive. It’s plug-and-play, simple enough for beginners, yet exciting for seasoned Bitcoiners. Reminiscent of the old Gekkoscience USB miners, but with a modern twist and way more performance. I could see this being a fantastic gift for anyone, from kids learning about Bitcoin to tech-savvy grandparents wanting a hands-on project. The build quality is great, and the community behind it is super supportive. If you’re even a little curious about mining or want to share the Bitcoin journey with someone, this is the perfect starting point.

Great Little Miners with Decent PSU
I have ordered 3 of these Gammas from Plebsource and they are all awesome! One of them was overheating right away but all it needed was some new thermal paste and it was hashing in no time. They come with a decent 5v PSU and have an extra Molex 4 pin connector installed for a super easy Noctua upgrade. I may not win the BTC Lottery as others have with these but they are a lot of fun to tinker with and upgrade. Just started experimenting with minor overclocking and they are running 1.5-1.7Th/S easy, with a lot more room to go I think! Just ordered the NerdQAxe++ from them too and will be adding a 4th Gamma soon. Thanks Plebsource - you folks are awesome!

SOLID setup
SOLID rig with great performance on stock components. Setup was simple and smooth. Did some basic overclocking and pushing 1.5 Th/s with great temps and efficiency across the board.

A very good Gamma 602 with one flaw
A very good Gamma 602 with one flaw as I see it So if you are going to run stock settings for frequency and voltage, the stock fan and heat sink are fine. If you are going to overclock this, then you really want to replace the stock fan with a 52pi heat sink and perhaps a Noctua A4 fan. I have mine running at a higher clock and voltage level after replacing the fan and heat sink and adding small heat sinks to some of the components on the rear like the vr regulator and some of the power resistors. Now about the one flaw...the design of the gamma 602 uses offset holes on the board so that the manufacturer does not "need" to install the display pin header board like on previous generation gamma's like the 601. They just "bend" the pins on the display outward in opposite directions so that the 4 pins on the display board make a tenuous contact with the holes through the motherboard. If you receive your 602 and notice the display is not working, bend the pins of the display out a bit and insert it back into the holes as seen in the attached pics. Quite frankly, this is a bad design and not a cool way to save a few pennies over using a pin header socket that is soldered onto the board. All of my gamma 601's use the pin header socket soldered to the board and you can just insert the display board pins into that header socket and remove it if needed for replacement. other than this one issue, this is a really good bit of kit and I much prefer the stand that comes with this Pleb version over several of the others that I have purchased.

Makes Bitcoin mining simple but not profitable.
It's easy to setup and start solo mining Bitcoin or mine with a Bitcoin pool. The web interface for it is awesome but don't forget to update it so you get all the new features and it's more stable. If you're solo mining you get a chance to solve a block every 10 minutes.

Effortless Bitcoin Solo Miner
Ok, so I haven’t hit a block yet (2 hours in) but it’s so great to take this one-chip wonder and let it hash away at the Bitcoin network… hoping for it to hit a block and deliver 3.2ish Bitcoin. Product is truly great. I’ve ran 1000s of asics in commercial settings, but this is exactly what’s needed for hobby mining at home. Quiet, well built, and very easy to setup. Took about 5 minutes total to get it on the WiFi network, update the address so it’s mining to my Bitcoin wallet and let it rip. Hashing at expected rate right around 1.2THs and using less energy than advertised on night now, around 14J/TH. Gonna send a few of these to my friends and family that don’t “get” bitcoin mining. Love it!!
