Just like the original Bloodborne guide, this saved my (many) lives throughout the course of the hefty DLC. Obviously a lot smaller, but it includes a wonderful story overview, which helps clear some things up, too!

In exactly the same format as the Bloodborne Collector's Edition Strategy Guide. Much thinner as the DLC is much smaller (and does not have the Chalice dungeons from the main game). However, the quality is amazing, every weapon given several pages of breakdown, every enemy, detailed walkthrough and superb artwork throughout.A real quality book but not cheap but I expect the print run is much smaller.

Noch besser als der Guide zum Hauptspiel
Tach.Über den Guide zum Hauptspiel war ich etwas enttäuscht. Ein tolles Buch, keine Frage, wären da (in der deutschen Fassung) nicht die unzähligen Grammatikfehler gewesen. Außerdem fehlte es mir persönlich an zusätzlichen Hintergrundinformationen. Doch das ist mit The Old Hunters endlich besser geworden.Allein von der Aufmachung her hat sich viel getan. Das Cover sieht viel schöner aus, als das langweilige Runen Symbol auf der Titelseite des Hauptspiel Guides. Die Screenshots sind besser gelungen (im Hauptspiel gab es viele Bilder, die man sich hätte schenken können, weil eh nix zu erkennen war) und zum Schluss gibt es in diesem Buch sogar noch ein paar Artworks zu bewundern. Wirklich nicht viele, ist schließlich kein Art Book, aber trotzdem cool.Für mich am interessantesten sind aber die Seiten, auf denen endlich die Geschichte von Bloodborne genauer erläutert wird. Denn selbst nach dem 5. Mal durchspielen war ich mir immer noch nicht sicher, was das Ganze eigentlich zu bedeuten hat. In diesem Buch werden alle relevanten Ereignisse und Charaktere etwas genauer beschrieben und auch die Quelle, woher man diese Information im Spiel bekommt, ist mit angegeben. Finde ich super, sowas habe ich mir gewünscht.Ansonsten erfüllt das Buch gewohnt den Zweck einer Komplettlösung, obwohl man in diesem Spiel eher selten darauf angewiesen ist, jedenfalls was den Fortschritt der Story anbelangt. Falls einem noch Waffen oder Rüstungen fehlen oder man einfach ein paar zusätzliche Infos zu den Gegnern, Nebenquests oder eben zu den Waffen und deren Eigenschaften sucht, ist dieses Buch aber genau richtig.Viele Leute (so auch ich) kaufen sich die Lösungsbücher natürlich erst, wenn man mit dem Game schon durch ist. Wenn ich vorher schon alles weiß, brauche ich ein Spiel gar nicht erst zocken, ist jedenfalls meine Meinung. Das ist als würde ich einen Film sehen oder ein Buch lesen, dessen Ende ich mir vorher schon gespoilert habe. Macht keinen Sinn. Doch wie gesagt, wer einfach nur zusätzliche Infos sucht oder die Geschichte besser verstehen will, macht mit diesem Guide nichts verkehrt. Also, holt es euch :)

Je suis agréablement satisfait de ce guide du DLC de Bloodborne, qui accompagne assez bien le guide original du jeu. La dernière section qui porte sur la mythologie et l'histoire des personnages et des factions du jeu est tout particulièrement intéressante.

No sólo te explica la historia y te da las referencias de dónde saca cada información, sino que además te explica todo sobre el juego y te muestra el arte, con una calidad brutal. Vale su precio, aunque cubra una parte más pequeña del juego, ofrece contenido muy especial como un análisis completo de la historia basado en cada descripción de objeto. Excelente
