My puppies didn't seem to be bothered by these. They are soft enough to not cause harm to the babies, yet sturdy enough to last 8 weeks. They did start to fall off around week 8 because the puppies were a bit rougher with each other. That has nothing to do with the product though.

These are soft, easy to use, cute, and age appropriate collars for newborn puppies. I like the colors, but they have faded a but under the heat lamp over a few weeks. We are at three weeks now, and there have been 3 collars that the Velcro stopped working on, and now those puppies don’t have collars. It has been ok so far, bc we can identify those pups by their gender and colors, but if any others fail, we will be in a pickle. So, I’m about to order a second brand that comes with 2 of each for about the same price. If these were to be replaced bc they fuzzed up and failed so soon, I’d be a 4. If they lasted maybe 4-6 weeks, I’d be a 5 star, I think. It would be great to have one collar set the whole 8 weeks-12 weeks, but I recognize that it a tall order, so even just a full month without failing would be solid in my book.

Bought these for our 7 puppies because 4 of them are exactly identical. They do the job of telling them apart, but I am less than pleased with the quality. Yes they are soft and can be adjusted but that’s about where the good things end. They get dirty very quickly and lose their color making it hard to tell the pups apart. I put a brand new collar on one, and it was off and gone the next day (still yet to be found). The Velcro stops sticking quickly even after washing these. They all get caught on one another and the fabric splits in half making it useless. If your pups are very small when you buy them, you have to continuously wrap them around their neck but it’s hard to get it just the right tightness without it being too loose and slipping right off, plus the extra that is not stuck to Velcro comes out and makes me worries the pup with choke or just rip it off easily. Overall, we’re able to tell them apart, but everything else about these has been cheap and a major pain.

When I read the reviews for these collars, I was nervous about ordering them, but I am so glad I did! They are soft enough for delicate puppies. They do have a lot of length. I left the length to get as much use out of them as I could, which meant they wrapped around their necks nearly twice at 10 days old. But these collars were adjusted, readjusted, & put through many baths, perfectly for 6 solid weeks. Once my puppies were 8 weeks old, we had to find collars that could withstand them. These do not hold up well to siblings that chew on collars (as is expected). The layers started to split & needed cutting off, but the collars somehow remained attached, until they finally lost their “stick”. Which worked perfectly, b/c they started to outgrow the length of the collar too. These collars went through the wringer, & they held their colors very well for us. Absolutely worth the value. I will definitely continue to order these for any future litters.

These collars are perfect for puppies, especially smaller breeds. I like the variety of colors and the fact that I can adjust the size I need by simply trimming the collar down a bit.These held up pretty well as my puppies got a little older, even with daily playing and puppy antics.

I USE THESE A LOT. I RAISE PUPPIES SO I USE THESE SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR. THEY WORK FANTASTIC FOR LITTLE NECKS. BECAUSE COLLARS ARE TO BIG.

We had to order these because the clip ones were too big for our puppies. They were all under a pound and these collars were great. We used them for 5 weeks.

These are great for my puppies. They stay on and are better quality than expected

These worked really well on our new litter of puppies for about a week. Very useful in keeping track of puppies! However, after about a week the velcro started to weaken and some of the puppies started losing their collars. We had to invest in a different, more sturdy collar for them.
