APRILSKIN TXA Niacinamide Pink Bubble Gum Deep Cleanser

Okay, so I love this cleanser so much. I mean I had a feeling I would like it, but when first feeling the texture, I was a bit hesitant. The name “Bubble Gum” cleanser really is spot on. When first coming out of the tube, it feels like a creamy bubbly gum, or actually more like a whipped laffy taffy. It has a sticky or tackiness to it but not in a bad way. Then as you start rubbing it on your face it turns into a still slightly tacky, rich, creamy mousse like foam. It actually feels really nice on the skin. And it feels like it is really grabbing all the dirt, oils, and anything else on your skin and out of your pores because it has that tackiness to it. As you add more water then it starts to thin out a bit becoming more of an airy mousse foam. You only need a tiny bit, like a pea sized amount because a little but goes a long way. Trust me. Once I rinsed it off, my face felt incredibly clean, almost squeaky clean, but still soft, smooth, and plump. It did not feel stripped at all, just refreshed and clean. My skin looks brighter, more even toned, and healthy. And it got all the stuff out of my pores too. But it is still gentle. I couldn’t believe how well it got everything off my face. Plus, my skin felt super hydrated as well. It does have a bit of a sweet fruity smell a little bit like bubbly gum, but not strong. It just smells really good. I love this cleanser. I have been using it nonstop since getting it. I don’t even reach for any of my other cleansers anymore. It works incredibly well. I can’t say enough good things about it. HIGHLY highly recommend.

I got this product as a freebie, but I've become OBSESSED. It's basically cleared my KP. Because it was a freebie and foaming cleansers tend to go a long way with little product, when I first tried it, I used it very liberally as a full-on body wash, including on my KP and endless ingrowns on my legs. I have tried other products for my KP, physical and chemical exfoliants, soaps, creams, etc, but nothing really worked, so I just learned to accept it. But this stuff? It was like a miracle worker. It was like night and day. Just one use and I saw a HUGE difference, and it didn't dry out my skin like other chemical exfoliant body washes. So I kept using it as a body wash. It's been a week now, and the KP isn't completely gone, but I've never, and I mean NEVER, seen my arms this clear. On top of that, it's already cleared persistent hairline acne and brightened acne scars on my face, and is clearing body acne. I love the smell of it too, and it doesn't have any lavender or components of lavender (ex: linalool or limonene), which is uncommon in scented products (which I am very allergic to), so this is a huge win for me. (Why I have persistent hairline acne- currently switching products). It was also an easy choice for me to subscribe to, because the overall price isn't that different from the drugstore bar cleanser I was using prior. I probably will still use the bar soap when I want something even gentler, but this will be my all-over body wash from now on. I never write reviews, but this stuff really was a game changer. I have struggled with body acne, KP, and ingrown hairs (without even shaving) for what feels like my whole life, and nothing really has consistently made a dent in the struggle in a sustainable or affordable way. It isn't a huge insecurity, but if I could get rid of it, I would, and now I can!

It is the best soap I have ever used, after washing I really see my face cleaner and brighter, the texture is interesting and with very little I wash my whole face, it does not dry my face out and does not generate acne. It also works as a mask, according to the box, appliyng it to dry skin and left for 1 minute.

I personally find this great to use every few days to get a good deep clean. It’s got a great lather and my face feels clean but if you have normal/dryer skin like mine, it might be too stripping to use on a regular basis. Definitely follow up with a great moisturizer after.

I love this cleanser and would definitely recommend it and buy it again! This cleanser made my skin feel incredibly smooth and clean. I recommend using it as the face mask (directions on the bottle) but also love using it as the face wash. On a side note it’s also really fun to play with!

This is my second time buying this and I LOVE IT. If you’re dealing with hyperpigmentation definitely use this with a moisturizer and a good SPF ( re apply as needed ) - and you’ll see a difference within the first 3 months guaranteed!

While I was initially thrilled about the face wash and agreed with other reviewers about the smell, it making my face soft, etc., I could not recover from the purging. I purchased this entire line, but most specifically this face wash because it removes blackheads, and indeed it does. If you’ve ever had to manage acne, I think you’ll understand where I’m going with this 3star review. Face wash drew out the blackheads, but my skin purged and couldn’t/ wouldn’t stop or recover. It was like the formula couldn’t handle those pustules. After a few months of patience, waiting for improvement, taming expectations, I went back to my regular cleanser and continued using the toner, masque and serum.

Such a lovely cleanser, great for dry skin and the pink color and texture make it so much fun. For $10 it’s a great purchase. Works great. Worth it.

Amazing is the word for it little goes long way. Feel absolutely clean and fresh on the skin.
