Heats wax fast, then adjusts to perfect temp zone!
I wanted a larger tub, but didn’t want to get one of the pro level ones that are like $200. This one is prefect.Cons:There was a small crack in the lid when it arrived and the wax that comes with it only fills it to the minimum fill line, which is not enough to really dip your hands and feet with.Pros:It holds about 3-4lbs of wax at the max fill line, which is a good amount to comfortably dip hands and feet fully. It melts the wax fast! (Some others take hours.)Affter melting, it auto adjusts to a more comfortable temperature for dipping. It is easy to use and adjust temperature. The next time you use it, it will adjust back to the temperature you last set on (again after initially getting hotter to melt the wax fast).Feet fit in this too! I wear a women’s 8-8.5 shoe and my feet fit comfortably with extra room.

Runs hot/issues resetting temperature
I bought this for home use and it seems pretty decent. I’ve only had paraffin-type treatment done at the salon a couple times and I figured this would save me money. It gets 4 stars for a couple reasons, due to what I was expecting from it:#1 the bath itself it’s nice, but the instructions not great (though this was in other reviews and I kinda knew it).#2 It seems that I can’t change the wax temperature once it’s set, even though I’ve unplugged it and re-tried. It runs a bit hot for my liking.#3 the size of it fits my foot okay (size 8W shoe) but it’s tight on both front and back of foot, which means if you had a size 9.5 it’d probably be way too small for you. Which brings me to....#4 because of #2 & #3 when you sit your foot in it, if you touch edges or bottom of warmer you can really scold yourself. There is a plastic rack that comes with it to put on bottom of it , but it’s not a tight fit, and moves when you put your foot in it. (Per say, that’s okay, I expected it to anyway).#5 the liners that come with it are not very good, too small for adult feet though they’re fine for hands, but they rip when you try to put your foot in them. I’m going to order a larger size.I also expected the wax to be a little thicker and not to solidify like it does, and stay softer like the ones at the salon. I ordered therabath wax brand as well, so I’ll try that one when the one that came with is gone. The positives though are: fast delivery, easy set up, no brainer. Wax smells great, and it seems to do a good job on my skin both hands and feet. I have health issues with my feet, and that’s one of the reasons I wanted to do this at home, so overall I’m happy with it: my foot & toes have screws in them and unfortunately aren’t sitting straight like other people’s so touching the bottom of the warmer is uncomfortable, wish it was a bit longer/wider. Also the amount of wax does not go to the top of the foot, but that’s what the brush is for. A positive, is that you can re-use the wax, because it brings it to a high temp. I always do a foot bath beforehand, so my feet are always clean.Overall, not a dud :) and I would recommend it, provided you consider size etc.

Heed the advice of other reviewers!
This machine is a scald hazard. I should have listened to other reviews before purchasing this unit. I figured for $60 it probably worked well enough, didn’t have all the bells and whistles of a $100 machine but also wasn’t bottom of the barrel either.Well, I can say this thing is being returned first thing tomorrow. The first time I used it I read the directions and assumed I had some kind of control over the setting and heat on this machine, well no. It basically just heats up (impressively quick) and continues to climb in temperature. Really this thing should just stop at 130 and then regulate its temperature. It doesn’t, I think mine got to 178 degrees, and even if you can stick your hand in there (I did after it cooled a little) you still risk hitting the bottom of the unit which is metal and scalding yourself on that (which I also did). I tried to use the + and - buttons to somehow control this thing and they did nothing. The + button only made a noise about every 15th time I pushed it but the numbers on the digital read did nothing. Essentially, this machine just continues to heat up as long as it is turned on and has a mind of its own. The second time I used this I had the same results and I figured that I would need to just plug it in, turn it on, then unplug it when it got to a temp I thought I could handle. After thinking about all that, and the intention of purchasing this for use on my hands and feet once a week, it is not worth all the hoops I have to jump through to get this to work for me. I would expect this type of quality out of a machine that costs $20 but this being triple in cost, it’s just not worth it. I will say that the wax that was sent is very lovely smelling, and it was nice this included plastic bags and hand mitts (which I never even opened). Just wished it worked better.

Amazing!
Just used it and it melted the wax in 22 minutes. The directions weren’t clear about wether or not to take out the removal plastic bottom piece that was already in the when I opened it. So I put 3 wax tables (it came with a total of 4) on top of the plastic piece and noticed after 5 mins the wax wasn’t melting so I took it out and just left the wax tables in and immediately the wax started to melt. I got the wax tables that were for nourishment and hydration. I can say the smell is not good. Smells like floral but not good. However, it did hydrate my hands nicely. I would recommend dipping your hands 2-3 times before putting the plastic over them just so it’s easier to peel off later when you’re done.I would definitely buy again!

The temp electronics werent right
I returned the 1st one. Neither temp or time would adjust. and yes, I read the directions. So I returned it, no problem. The time is adjustable on the second one, the temp is not adjustable. The only reason I haven't sent this one back is, I'm afraid I won't get anything better, and it seems to stabilize at 127 degrees, which works for my hand. Oh well, progress not perfection. I do love the start up speed.
