EXQUISITAMENTE ESTETICO, UTIL Y FUNCIONAL

NOT A PROTECTIVE CASE, A PRODUCTIVITY CASE
This isn't going to provide your tablet much protection, 1) can't use even a TPU case on this since the magnets are too weak. 2) Edges are exposed 3) Weak Magnets means the tablet will fall out or shift dangerously out of the case that leave it open to be stepped on. Pros: -Feels APPLE quality, I've had the PRO Keyboard from Apple for my iPad Pros, and this functions in pretty much the same way, sans the charging passthrough, which could probably easily be implemented. -The keys on this are PERFECTLY SPRINGY. Now, I'm not a keyboard snob, I write this on a mechanical keyboard, but I rarely have issues with membrane or laptop style scissor switch keyboards. This one feels great, like a perfect 50gram key press, little lighter than the 60gram I rock daily, but stiffer than a 30g or 40 gram a lot of gamers like to use. They feel great. -Trackpad isn't bad, functions, is responsive, and gets the job done, just slightly cramped. Given the "FLOATING" nature of this case, could probably do away with the creature comfort S-Pen holder and moved the keyboard up more, and give you an extra millimeter or two of trackpad space and that would probably be the sweet spot. Though, it functions and since the tablet is right there, and your tablet supports S-Pen, means... not really lacking in screen manipulation options that you can forgive a tiny trackpad. -I got the blue one, and it's more of a proper NAVY Blue, very sharp and not toy looking. -Backlight LED Blending, this must have a diffusion layer over the LEDs, since there's none of that annoying shimmer issue from cheaper backlight keyboards. Usually the biggest culprits for this are White, Yellow, and Purple. What I mean, is if your eyes are sensitive to this, you'll notice that white is Red Green and Blue mixed, there are clearly 2 sets of those colors with about a millimeter gap between the arrays providing the backlight on each key. you can clearly see the LEDs Though whatever diffusion they're using hides the off axis color shift. So for instance on cheaper keyboards, tilt one direction you'll see the Green being used for Yellow, tilt the other direction and you'd see the Red as well. and as a result would create a weird shimmer effect that bothers me. NOT HERE, this blends the colors, even Yellow and Purple, pretty well. I'm personally a CYAN person. Cons: -Viewing angle, I need just like 10 degrees more tilt in this to make it comfortable for me, this was the issue I had with the official Magic Keyboard. This copies that keyboard so well that it copies that flaw, also. I got frustraited with the magic keyboard that I broke it, would never close flat, but did give me 20 more degrees to play with and held its position, not at this point with this keyboard since when on my lap, the device tilts back a little bit to give me that extra 10 degrees. though resting on a desk, it's not the most comfortable. You don't have to always copy Apple nearly 1:1. You can iterate and improve. Like personally I would love if this acted more like a laptop hing and you could fold this nearly flat back. And maybe add a feature where you can put your tablet into a vertical/portrait orientation as well. -Magnets are WEAK. Wanted to use this with a TPU Case to just give my tablet some extra protection and the weak magnets wouldn't go through the thin TPU. Conclusion: My favorite tablet cases for ipads are the laptop style cases, but for whatever reason, those manufacturers refuse to make those for Samsung tablets. I get not making them for EVERY android tablets out there, but Samsung is pretty popular... This is a great case in its own right, and works well, connects fast and has a function row, which is kind of nice, since it means the number row isn't home to media keys and kind of keeps them out of the way. I would recommend this keyboard, it's super comfy to type on, and is just as nice as the Magic Keyboard for half the price, while giving you a 7 color backlight keyboard.

Does not work in Portrait mode
I bought this a little too quickly after seeing the price drop on Prime Day. I should have read the description more closely to see that it DOES NOT hold the tablet in Portrait mode. Since it's held up by a magnet, I figured it wouldn't matter if I spun the device 90 degrees and used it in portrait mode. But, it actually works on multiple magnets that are placed in specific spots to handle the weight of the tablet. Great design, but limits the ability to use it in Portrait mode. With the S9 FE+ being a 12" screen, I find that the tablet is wide enough to use in portrait mode and almost too large for landscape in some instances, so I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't work in that orientation. That being said, it's completely my fault for not reading the description thoroughly before making the purchase. When used as intended in landscape mode, this is a great setup. The keyboard feels like a normal laptop keyboard and the weight of the battery is plenty to counterbalance the weight of the tablet. It does more than double the total weight of the device, but there's not much of a way around that since the keyboard has to be heavier than the tablet in order for it to not fall over. Setting it up was very easy since my S9 FE+ is brand-new. The trackpad isn't perfect, but I've never liked trackpads on laptops, and it's easy enough to just touch the screen. The rigidity of the hinged cover is strong enough to hold the S9 FE+ in place at any of the intended angles. I also like that there's an appropriately-sized cutout to allow for the rear cameras and the stylus. Overall, a great design. I just wish it could be used in Portrait mode!

This is great - perfect for tablets!
This has been great. Excellent battery life (though not nearly as long as they claim). Lots of shortcuts and features - key quality is fantastic... feels just like typing on any decent laptop keyboard. The ONLY thing that is preventing this from getting 5 stars is how sensitive the height/sensitivity of the trackpad. It is too high and steals/shifts focus with the slightest brush of the heel of your hand under normal use. I am sure I will get used to it eventually - but it is a little annoying at times.

Hit and a miss: nice but an incomplete solution
I used to have the Samsung standard folio case, the one that "flippity floppity" when you move it around. No need to talk about the bad about that since this is not a review of that product. But what I like about it is that it utilises the connection plates at the edge of the tablet to connect to the keyboard. The keyboard back attachment has a "leg" stand so when I detach the tablet from the keyboard, it can stand alone. Yes, it was a flimsy case that doesn't make the tablet durable in say, a trip to Afghanistan while dodging mortar rockets, but it was okay for particularly careful, peaceful domestic use. Now this case: While it is fantastic that this has a more stable hold (umm, what do you call this, a pivot?) I like the stability at certain angles when you tilt the tablet. I like that the keyboard is lit. Here's the missed part though. It has an opening for the pen charger, but it doesn't have a cover for the 3-footpen like the Samsung one. Rely on the magnetic holder on the keyboard, your pen will NOT charge. The design is meant for your tablet to be a complete notebook, not a tablet because detaching the tablet from the stand makes it more vulnerable to damage drops (not that this folio case will protect it from a 3-foot drop - also, not that the Samsung folio provided that protection either). So, there you go. You can't have everything. Product Designers today need a bit more skill in holistic thinking (nothing against the seller really). Because right now, this product has some things you like, and the others have the other things you need. What can make this better? 1. Add a cover at the back for the pen, just like the Samsung folio. 1.2 ...Don't want to charge your pen at the back? Make that pen magnet on the keyboard charge the pen. Not just a magnetic attachment (utilise the power of the keyboard). 2. Instead of Bluetooth, utilise the Keyboard connector at the bottom, while keeping the keyboard's independent power supply (chargeable through the USB-C slot) to maintain the keyboard light feature. 3. Should come with a tablet edge protector, and TPU. Even better, if they can make the tablet detach from the folio case and maintain protection with an available stand, perfect.
