RussoundADP-1.2 Speaker-level to Line-level Adapter

I bought this because my amplifier did not have a dedicated subwoofer out. I mounted in a hobby box and it worked excellent for my subwoofer.

My high end garage sound system needed a boost in the amplification department. However my Yamaha receiver does not have pre outs to run to an external amplifier. When I found this Russound device I thought to myself cool it will resolve my connection problem but there’s no chance it’ll sound good in the process. I’m only going to get one of my two requirements. So I received my order, connected it to my speaker main outputs then took two RCA to XLR cables and connected them to my Crown MacroTech amplifier. YEP THAT DID IT! YEP! THATS LOUD! I absolutely love this device. No audible noise of any kind, runs completely cold and will be easy to maintain should something go wrong with it.

Does just what I need. A little pricey considering there is no enclosure. Speaker inputs are funky and difficult to connect to. Gold plating on line level outputs would have been nice. Still, it does exactly what I needed and rated power handling is good.

Having a AV amp without preamp outputs this device works perfectly. I read up on this device on YouTube which showed step by step instructions in which was extremely simple ,connected and wow what a different in sound.

product worked in terms of shifting to line voltage from receiver. all the documents appeared to confirm what I wanted to do which was to have have B speakers powered from an amplifier thus A speakers would be powered by the receiver and B by an external amp through this device so that the sound to both A and B would be the same/similar. worked great for B alone but not when both A and B were selected. Will have to find an audio expert to figure it out. This device also is not housed in a box -- very bad design for the cost. there has to be an alternative.

I had bought one at first cause my receiver only had two pre-outs and I need a third for the 3-channel receiver I had purchased. Center channel was working great but the left and right were low. Decided to buy another one for the other two channels and improved 100 fold. The product works great and helps amplify the sound. Highly recommend if looking to upgrade your system. Only downside is that it does not have a cover.

Easy to set up product highly recommend great product to resolve the issue of no preouts to add an amp!

My SVS subs did not have line level input, and the subs were not compatible with my preamplifier arc Ref6. Contacted SVS for a solution and they recommended me this product. Works like a treat, it saved me a lot of money. Otherwise I have to sell my subs and purchase REL subs. Excellent product.
