Hyundai Elantra 1996 Thru 2006: All Models (Haynes Repair Manual (Paperback))

VERY DISAPPOINTED I BOUGHT THIS THINKING THAT AS THE COVER SAID THAT IT COVERED ALL MODELS THAT IS A LIE,IT DOES NOT COVER THE DIESEL MODEL AND THAT IS WHAT I WANTED IT FOR. IT DOESN'T EVEN TELL YOU HOW TO CHANGE THE DIESEL FUEL FILTER.IT MIGHT BE GOOD FOR SOME THINGS ON THE CAR BUT FOR ME IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY

I have had many Haynes manuals in my life for various cars I have owned or wanted to own so without hesitation I choose one for my Elantra, having ordered it from Amazon I waited with baited breath and as with all things Amazon it turned up on time. Opening the bag the first thing I noticed was that the old hardback had gone and now a very flimsy paper back was on the manual.Not a good start but I thought OK they have never let me down before so lets start by finding my engine type (I am looking to change my Fuel filter on my 1991cc Diesel elantra 04) of I was shocked to find no picture of the engine bay, so being fair minded as I am next thing was to look up to see if the fuel filter might be mentioned somewhere else to my relief there it was "ahhh but no it was not according to my manual the filter was in the the fuel pump" rubbish I can see it under the bonnet in the Engine bay which of course is not covered in this very thin complete strip down of all Elantra's. So then I got on the phone to my Father who had a very large collection of Haynes manuals and asked him he was very surprised at the lack of detail.So to cut a long story short as its 09:35 and I need to goto work if you have a diesel Elantra don't buy this Haynes manual find a different type of one I am looking and will report if successful.
