The container is white, thick, hard plastic with metal lid. It looks like the original jars but is not glass.

What are the active ingredients for this Carmex that's being advertised? Because menthol & phenol have been taken out & made inactive & not the same.

Carmex website state: Active Ingredients Camphor 1.70%.................................................................External Analgesic White Petrolatum 45.30%.................................................................Lip Protectant Inactive Ingredients lanolin, beeswax, cetyl esters, paraffin, theobroma cacao seed butter, menthol, salicylic acid, phenol, vanillin, flavor

"In the United States, the active ingredients of Carmex lip balm are benzocaine, camphor (1.7%), menthol (0.7%), phenol (0.4%), and salicylic acid.[8] The inactive ingredients, in order of greatest used to least used in the product, are petrolatum, lanolin, cetyl esters, paraffin wax, cocoa butter, beeswax, and flavor.[9]" Carmex

How long is expiration date?

For my recent purchase, the exp. date is Sept. 2024. But if they're stored with consistent temperature, they seem to last forever.

Moiturizing, affordable and reliable

I always stock up on these because the ones made in South Africa just aren't the same quality. I love them and share with my family as well. Lasts long on the lips requiring minimal reapplication. No white cast and keeps lips moisturized. No complaints besides that the Carmex is not the same depending on the different production regions.

Thank goodness!

I used this product a lot! I’ve tried others but my lips would break out like crazy! This chapstick is the only thing my lips accept lol. It keeps my lips moist! This summer has been really bad for my lips. I’m allergic to my own saliva, so using this Chapstick really helps me out tremendously! I bought this pack to share with my mother, because she has a same situation. And we love it! Yes, we would buy it again, we’ve been using it like crazy to keep our lips moisturize and it’s been phenomenal. Thank you again. Plus the price you cannot beat! the quality you get is amazing!
