It tells you in a very casual way, as if you were chatting with the authors and at the same time there are some parts of the book that literally made me take a leap of faith a sensation that I was in a profound, transforming and meaningful conversation with them. By reading the title it seems that is written to coaches, nonetheless, anybody with a medium knowledge of what is a life coach will benefit from it. One of the reason I found this book fascinating is that when I was at Michael Neill Supercoach Academy last year, and been a Neurologist I was lost the first 2 months because I was told that Transformative Coaching did not have a specific method, no specific way to do it, and I was in real shock. In Neurology if you do not have a routine or method, you are going to kill or badly harm a patient. Ah... But here I found a method what to do to become a total failure and also what to withhold and how to say the right thing at the right moment and at the right time. I love both authors being honest about making mistakes, not only at the beginning of their careers but also currently!!!!!!. I am coaching, coaching and having many NO but I always take that NO as a piece of information not rejection, I ask, "Would you mind what part of what I said or did not say made you to decide NO? and is there a way we can arrange this...Many times I get a second NO...Better this client does not want to become a better person or wealthy etc.. This book has changed my life, 180 degrees, it has being an eye and mind opener. There are so so many "experts" who love to give you advice on building your practice. Advice that in fact has absolutely nothing to do with coaching itself but only distances you further and further from what coaching is really all about - service. In this book Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin gives you the power back. The power to honor what you know in your gut to be true. At times the book is painstakingly simple, which is why I believe it's so effective. There are no bells and whistles - it's clear, clean and to the point. Rarely have I experienced that a book has held as much timeless power and wisdom as this one. I couldn’t put it down and it’s become the no.1 book I recommend to anyone who’ll listen (or won’t for that matter!). The book found me at time when I was going through the final woes of my struggles and I can honestly say that this book is what finally pulled me out of misery and completely transformed the way I value myself, my time and my craft as a coach. It’s a huge beam of light in this world. I am reminded of one of my favourite quotes from A Course in Miracles which reads… “A miracle is never lost. It may touch many people you have not even met, and produce undreamed of changes in situations of which you are not even aware.” I consider Steve getting together with Rich and writing this book as a true miracle. A huge testament of love for the craft coaching is. The content of the book is like a pebble being thrown into water, the ripple effect will spread far and wide. I highly recommend the book to you who feels lost listening to experts, you who know in your gut that there's another way of doing business. Much love & light, Mariaestela

Take the edge off of your thoughts on starting or continuing your Coaching Practice.
The target audience for this book is every coach, from aspiring to experts, regardless of where they are in their journey. This book covers some common concerns of coaches and their practice, such as client relationship building, impacts on clients and coaching practice, practice profitability, coach professional development, and mindset shifts. This book aims to encourage coaches struggling to get clients, create an impact, or generate income in their practice. This book had many gems, from Creating clients to Value-driven coaching to creating a practice that can thrive without the Internet. Chandler and Litvin continuously recounted their experiences to support the advice or wisdom conveyed. Sometimes, the suggestion was more philosophical due to the narrow view of coaching niches that could apply the advice. For example, I needed help understanding how corporate coaches could apply most of the advice given. The environments between personal (Life coaching) and organizational coaching are vastly different, especially in their approach. However, all the advice was clearly made, no matter how subjective the reader may be. I would recommend "The Prosperous Coach: Increase Income and Impact for Your Clients" and have done so several times since to coaches looking to elevate their coaching practice financially and make a meaningful impact on their clients. The book provides a unique perspective beyond traditional coaching techniques, focusing on the mindset, strategies, and principles that can lead you to success in the coaching profession. With a combination of philosophical insights and practical advice, there's valuable guidance for coaches who want to create a practice that is financially prosperous, deeply fulfilling, and impactful.

Good ideas
I found this book interesting and easy to read. And even though I am not a coach I got a couple of great ideas I could implement right away.

the t I Didn’t Know I Needed
Wow. I bought this book off the recommendation from Stacey Boehman, an amazing and masterful sales coach and this book has been the answer to the question of my heart. I have been unsuccessfully building a business based on principles that do Not align with who I am or how I want to show up in the world and I am so beyond ecstatic that this book shows how I can create and run my business another way, MY way.

Simple, clear, no gimmicks
I'm a coach. I'm skeptical of coaching books because many are EXACTLY THE SAME. HOWEVER, this one is simple to digest, isn't gimmicky, and allows you space to implement. I say that because I don't have to 'study' this book in a way I did others to implement the strategies. For example, there is a section all about being present for your clients and focusing on conversations. Well, of course, but the way they present it game me a new perspective on how to coach and be with my clients. I'm re-reading my highlighted parts, esp on days I'm struggling myself. I think everyone who is and wants to be a coach, should read this book.

This is a phenomenal read!!
I must say I wasn't quite sure what to expect when this book was referred to me by my son and coach Jeff Osborne! I had heard of Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin but I had not read their material or any of their books for that matter. What this book did for me was bring a great degree of clarity and anticipation that I could be beyond successful especially when they said the things that I want in my life are closer to me than I think which was definitely needed in the period of life that I'm now in. Now I see beyond the shadow of a doubt that not only am I a prolific coach but their skill sets have been added to mine and now I have the utmost confidence that I can have high paying clients that are passionate about the achievement of their goals and dreams and want someone like me to help them I am grateful for their body of work and will continue to read the rest of their publishing! Thank you so much for making the time to help coaches like myself out of their doubtings and into their greatness!

All you need to know to become a Prosperous Coach, at your fingertips
Rich is a powerful coach and I know that because I have experienced him. He's fearless and does not hold back. He tells it like it is. And he does it from a vulnerable, human space with the intention to serve you best. This book is an extension of Rich, and like him, it tells you the truth about how to build a successful coaching practice, and what you need to do in order to be the kind of fearless coach that will always have clients. When I first met Rich, I listened to all his webinars, read all his blog posts and studied his interviews. Each time he shared so many powerful ideas it was hard to keep up. I have a notebook full of them! What I like about 'The Prosperous Coach' is that it is all there, at my fingertips. No need to go looking for it any more. My job now is to integrate all the powerful ideas both Rich and Steve share in this book each day by rolling up my sleeves and doing The Prosperous Coach's work. This is no doubt a book that any new, or experienced coach or consultant MUST freaking read. If you're not a coach yet, and you're considering becoming a coach, READ this book before you even sign up for an expensive coach training program. What Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin share in this book is what really works. Specially if you're someone who is spiritually based and want to bring your spiritual values of growing, giving, and connecting into the business of being a coach. Since I started applying the principles shared in this book I've doubled up my fees, and after struggling for so long, I've now stabilized my income and I'm working with exciting, highly committed, and fun clients that are a good fit for me and my coaching style. Thanks Steve and Rich for helping me become a more powerful and prosperous coach. - Gabriel Gonsalves, Chief Courage Officer at [...]

Don't bother reading all the reviews... buy this now!
As a career coach, I have read a fair few books targeted at coaches and this is waaaaayyyyy up there with my favourites. Rich and Steve take a refreshingly different approach to most people who support coaches and my copy of this book is filled with yellow highlighter markings and notes - because the content is just that rich and worth executing. My coaching biz is part time around employed work at the moment and I love that Rich and Steve speak to that. I've read The Prosperous Coach three times or so and implement something new each time which moves me forward - and I will continue to keep doing so. I'm often a book sharer but this one is not one that will leave my library. If you are considering coaching or are a coach (full time or part time)... do yourself a favour and get your own copy today! I really do highly recommend it. Thank you Rich and Steve.

Good book, lousy quality
I'm still reading this book and fininding it enjoyable and with a reasonable amount of useful tips. My main gripe however is the quality of the actual book- it's a disgrace. It's of the lowest quality and finding it hard not to be ditsracted by the print from the next page coming through the cheap paper. It reminds me of the photocopied books street sellers in Vietnam sell the tourist. I find it ironic that a book that focues on creating wealth and abundance is presented in such a cheap and nasty way!
