I occasionally use a pH meter just to measure the pH of my lawn and plantings. Some require acidic soil and other more alkaline. I had some old calibration buffers in plastic containers ... but since they were old and the plastic doesn't prevent water loss and changes in concentrations I couldn't use them. I made up new buffers from the packets and was able to calibrate my pH meter. It was a lot cheaper than buying several different 500 ml of buffer solution. I store the new buffer solution in GLASS containers. Since the remaining packets are dry powder, I don't have to worry about adverse changes that might occur in solutions held for years.

Excellent products. They all worked as advertised. No problems whatsoever. When I haven't used my pH meter for several months, it has to be re-calibrated with these buffer solutions. I keep the solutions in air tight containers and they last a long time.

Great way to keep your meter in check. Make sure to make your solutions in a good sealing jar/bottle and it should last several months easily.

This was an add on to use to calibrate the Professional pH meter that I purchased for my hydroponic garden. There are three different packets depending on what you are going to be using the meter for. Very nice to have these
