RockportMen's Classic Break Chukka Boot

These are excellent shoes. Fit well. Excellent workmanship. Leather is fine and well finished. No complaints at all. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting a relaxed, casual looking shoe.

Rockport once again delivers a great fitting shoe. I need a wide due to a bunion and the need to accommodate an orthotic insert. These shoes work great. They provide enough room and look great.

I read other reviews before I wrote one...this is not the shoe you buy if u r looking for real boots...this is a chukka style...with a higher profile...in other words...these are shoes...the leather is I think made to stay uniform longer than to be soft to touch...the leather feels like lower to mid tier dress shoe leather...If ur looking for something like a Thursday boot...or durable, winter ready leather...look elsewhere...but I loved mines for the purpose!...PS...im in FL...send up very good to rain in my opinionVery comfortable...no need to buy wide...

The boots will make a great accessory to your wardrobe. Please consider that the boots are not a snow, winter or rain boots. The boots are a true dress causal style item. You may need to add a separate pair of waterproof dress or dress causal boots or snow boots to your wardrobe if you live in a cold or rainy climate. The boots are rather ruggedly built, but they are not clunky. They may feel a little stiff during your first two wearing, but they will soon loosen-up and begin to feel more and more comfortable. The boots will look quite stylist with a pair of jeans or with a pair of very nice dress slacks. The boots has the appearance of a much more expensive pair. Please purchase a neutral color shoe shine sponge or a sponge the color of the boots in order to keep your boots looking their maximum best. The only issue I have with the boots is that they often come untied due to the apparent waxing on the laces; however, inexpensive replacement laces from Amazon or your local store will take care of that.

These shoes far exceeded my expectation of performance, comfort, durability and style. I wore these very day on a 3 month trip to Europe. I walked on average 6-10 miles per day on cobblestone, streets and urban park trails. Many hills. Wore in some rain and some snow as well. Dried quickly. As the other reviews say, they run a little large. For me they are a 1/2 size bigger than my normal. I did put over the counter inserts for arch support since I have plantar fasciitis, not because of any deficiency of the shoe. I can't say enough how amazing these shoes are. I am home and still wearing them at least 4 times a week.

The shoe looks great. If what you want is a shoe to wear in the office where nothing more stressful than walking to the cooler happens and you want your feet to be pretty, these are excellent. I wasn't impressed with them for several reasons, so perhaps a PRO/CON discussion:PRO: pretty. Well finished leather. Cloth lined interior. Looks substantial while being very light. Available in wide!!!CON: thin leather (split hide). Leather feels like it won't last. Soles appear to be sewn on but aren't...they are glued on and the sewing is superficial. Sole is nearly smooth...fine in the office, but if you take a lunchtime walk stick to the path or expect to slip.These are an excellent and affordable option if your life is indoors but in no way are these 'boots'.

Not a fault in the shoe itself but the sizing. My foot is about a 14.5US, i.e about 13.5UK. I ordered off the USA website a 15 (better a little loose than I can't get in to them!) but when the shoes arrived then were shipped from the UK. They are labelled a 15, but that must be a UK 15, they are enormous. About 50mm too long.Not worth shipping them back, postage from NZ is more than shoes are worth.So like I say this is a failure in how the sizing is presented for these shoes (not a problem with appearance or quality etc)

I'm coming back to this 3 years after I purchased because I surprisingly keep getting compliments from random people when wearing it. It's held up pretty well over the years. Aside from spring/fall, I'll wear it on dry winter (salty Ottawa) days but have gotten them wet in salty slush at times. Have only really wiped them down and put mink oil once but they still look great. Pre-covid, they used to withstand my 45 minute walks to work. Not waterproof but could also be worse in the rain too. Overall, a great product.

La calidad es muy buena son muy cómodas valen la pena, solo que vienen grandes como medio número pedí 26cm creo que el 25.5 me hubiera quedado perfecto pero me gustaron mucho me las quedaré.

Es un calzado sumamente cómodo, fresco y de un aspecto agradable, francamente nunca había adquirido esta marca de zapatos, pero este calzado no defrauda en absoluto, es amplio, por lo que sugiero adquirir tu talla exacta a menos que te agraden los zapatos amplios. Me fue tan bien con esta adquisición que compre otro modelo de la misma marca, ahora de mi talla, y estoy muy agradecido porque la comodidad es increíble.
