Fully Assembled and Ready to Go
If you did your research, you already know that this bearing comes preassembled and ready to go. The cheap crap ones you see for much less require special equipment and extra steps, which is great for professionals. However, if you are basic do it yourself-er, trying to save some money... this is a great choice. My experience level is beginner. I have changed brake pads, performed basic maintenance, but for the most part I learn from YouTube videos. If I am describing you, this is probably the product you want.I installed on a 2008 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner, 2-wheel drive (rear), Double Cab.Why did I choose amazon over other slightly cheaper vendors like RockAuto? Easy... two day shipping, and a great return policy. I diagnosed the problem for my truck based on sound alone. 1. It sounded like an airplane taking off 2. It went away when turning right 3. It didn't go away when I threw it in neutral 4. It sounded like it was coming from one side of the vehicleBecause the sound went away when turning right, all of the chatter on the internet said it was the right front tire, and the rationale was that the weight shifted off the right to the left side.I also checked each side for "play" which there was none. And finally internet advice said to change both at the same time, or if you change one side and it doesn't work, swap the other side. All of this advice is good, most of the time. The noise sounded louder from the left front tire... but the internet advice on taking a right turn said right. I changed the right front wheel bearing, it didn't work, and I used the old wheel bearing I took off the right, and installed it on the left, and it worked great. So here is the advice:1. Sounds like an airplane taking off.2. It doesn't stop in neutral.3. The noise changes pitch based on speed.4. You turn one direction and it stops (most of the time, and the rule one which direction you turn isn't always right for choosing which side is bad).5. You jack it up, and check for play left and right, up and down... and it wiggles (some of the time, mine had none).6. You may or may not have uneven tread wear.7. You may or may not have worse gas mileage.8. You may or may not have problems turning sharply (as opposed to dull). My advice is to order bearings that can be returned, are assembled and ready to go, and change our both of them. If you are on a right budget, change the side where the noise is the loudest (ignore the rule about the noise stopping turning one direaction. Finally, do your research and then trust your instinct. If your truck is at 140,000 miles, never required any maintenance besides tires, brakes, and a battery... and the YouTube videos describe your problem... get all the right parts and tools, do it safely, and get a part with a return policy. You may save you Self a bunch of money, learn something, and enjoy your time out of the house. If it didn't work, return it in good conditIon, and all you lose was a little time, but at least you didn't lose a lot of money or get ripped off at the stealership.

Best Replacement Part with OE bearing
Best replacement part after careful review of many different brands to choose. This has the best bearing “The most important part of this hub” for the value. Photo is the old hub with bearing. This was very easy to replace. There are cheaper versions but I think this is the better value for long term replacement. Part replacement was for our 2011 Toyota Tacoma 2 wheel drive. Front wheel bearing hub left or right.

Saved Hundreds of Dollars!
The hubs were delivered on time and were an exact fit. The only issue was that they could have been packaged better for shipping. I was able to save hundreds of dollars by installing the hub assemblies myself instead of taking my truck to an auto repair shop. Installation was a fairly simple process requiring only a few basic metric tools and a few hours of my time, and would recommend this item to anyone with basic mechanical skills.

pleased with item, perfect match and easy install
OEM hub seized on me, didn't want to pay the $800 at the stealership. Ordered this through Amazon on Saturday, arrived to my house by 10:30AM Monday with complete stop-by-stop tracking (nice feature-add Amazon!), had the truck back on the road by 11:15AM. Used Blue threadlock just for peace of mind on the 4 bolts going into the housing. Time will tell on the longevity but front end runs smooth now, easy install and component seemed well-built.
