At first I was worried that it would not allow my bathroom door to close completely, but it does allow my door to close. It is good for hanging lightweight items like fingertip hand towels & lightweight clothing, but it is not sturdy enough to support the weight of my very large, heavy bathsheet towels (40" x 80").

Fits great on my bathroom door, a very nice feature is the stickers on the backside. When I pull my towel off I don’t yank the rack as well, it stays in place
