NOT SAFE TO USE
The vertical straps were sewn off set so the barrel would not lift safely. Did not come as illustrated.

Works but could be much better
The sling strap is not sewed at 180 degrees to barrel strap on mine either. It causes the barrel to tilt to almost 45 degrees when lifted. Other than that it seems to work okay. I would be much happier if the strap was sewed in a way that kept the barrel vertical when lifted.

Should of checked the reviews
Just like the reviews that are posted this product could be dangerous. The straps are sewn in the wrong position and will not hold a 55 gallon drum straight up-right. I will have one of the sewn straps re-done.

great tool...needs modification though
Needed a fork lift strap system to lift 55 gal oil drums. This DOES work...however the vertical strap that goes to the crane has stitched through ends. This locks their position and, unfortunately, they are not centered for a metal 55 gal drum. This means the drum leans hard when lifted. Had to cut ALL the stitching and have the end commercially re-stitched to allow the end to "float" and allow centering for equal lift. Heavy duty and GREAT quality...BUT not easy to modify without heavy stitching available. Most will not have that.

Have used it to move 400-600 lb barrels of product. Sling strap on unit we received is not connected to cinch strap at 180 degrees as indicated in the picture. So the barrel tilts upon lifting.
