Alphabet Train Poster, 36x24, Two Objects Per Letter!

This poster is a great education enhancer. I can bounce my son on my knee while we sing and point to the letters. Only singing the song without showing the letters does not give them the full story. It is crucial not only to provide information but also to demonstrate it physically (hands on). The poster is physically like any other poster I have had, which is good. What I really like is there are examples of the letters on each train car. For example, the R car has a robot on it and the O car has owl on it. From here we can engage in discussions about owls, robots and whatever else in on board the train. Also, each train wheel's color is different per car, which helps with teaching the colors.

The alphabet train poster is adorable! My son (2.5 yrs) has a train themed bedroom and this is a wonderful addition. I popped it in an inexpensive poster frame and it is and hung it lower on the wall so that he could look at it and practice his ABCs. I also left seller feedback but thought I would mention it here as well...Coilbrook was a great seller to work with. The original poster that was sent was damaged by USPS. I contacted Coilbook the day it arrived to let them know it had been damaged. A new one was put in the mail the same day and I received it two days later! Great seller!

Educational and my almost 3 year-old loved it. My recommendation is that you (the adult) get this item out of reach or frame it. This poster is printed on super cheap and thin paper. I turned my head for a second and my son already took it apart.UPDATE (5/7/2012): The people at Coilbook are awesome!!! They sent me a replacement poster without even asking. Thank you, I will take good care of it.

My son loves Shawn the Train. He has learned all of his shapes and colors from the videos. This poster is adorable and I love the vibrant colors. I bought it exactly 1 year ago today. For the price, this poster is perfect. It is warping in the frame but it is a cheap plastic poster frame. I'm going to put it in a new glass one my dad made and even buy a new one if it doesn't straighten out, but I would love to see Coilbook offer this image as a canvas for customers who would like higher quality items.

see it on U tube and loved it since my grandson love to recite abc and play with trains in the same time , i said what a deal two in one although the price was 10.91 in total which i consider high for a poster this size . but i regret it for flwng:- They squeezed it in a very tight tube which cause ripped in the middle and frustration while taking it out .- the color is dim and not bright at all (eventhough they put a note in the describtion but i was underestimated for the real color.- the material of the paper is very light and not plastic covered or thick as it mentioned as a carton- the alphabet is not clearly linked to the figuer attached ( E & W) for example and in reality it was very crowded and confused- I am not recomending it as an educational material .

It looks good online. But when we got the real thing, the color quality is So bad. I should have listen to the bad review in this product. Don't make the same mistake like I did

My 2 year old son loves to watch trains on Youtube with me. He also likes to watch and listen to older children play with their toy trains. So to hear Shawn the train's cute voice sparked interest in him immediately, and purchasing this poster was appropriate. I must say he really enjoys pointing out the imagery and the letters.I was actually quite impressed with the time and effort that was put into the detailed, layout of this poster. And feel credit is due where it is deserved. The creators really put their hearts and souls into this cute little independent project. I am quite pleased with their integrity. Although, for the children who find comradery in Shawn the Train, I do encourage more video uploads to keep that spark of interest alive.

I was very impressed with the quality of this poster. My grandchildren love it, and we have a lot of fun learning the alphabet with this poster. It is very colorful, and easy for my grandchildren to follow. We make several games playing with it, it is a very good learning tool. I would recommend it for all preschoolers. It would also work great in Daycares. It is definitely worth the money, a great value.
