Generic DNA Test Food Sensitivity

This product was easy to use BUT the email address they give you to notify the company of mailing/returning results is invalid and I contacted the company like 6 times on their website with no response so basically I wasted my money.

BY READING THIS, YOU AGREE TO USE MY FEEDBACK AT YOUR OWN RISK.***My doctor recently put my on elimination diet to try to determine what was causing some digestive issues I've been having. That method has a good track record, but is very time consuming. It can take a few weeks just to rule out one food "sensitivity", or to find out nothing at all. And that process repeats over and over and over until the patient has found a diet that does not cause distress to their digestive system. Too painful and too slow for me, so I bit the bullet and ordered this test (with same-day delivery even). Test results were timely and very helpful. I don't need to waste time filtering things like alcohol, caffeine, and dairy from my diet (for now) and can just focus on eliminating gluten. And if there is a response to that, I can take everything to my doctor and see if I should be tested for an official diagnosis of something. I'd definitely recommend this over or in conjunction with an elimination diet, BUT I WON'T RECOMMEND IT BECAUSE I AM NOT QUALIFIED TO DO SO. I'm happy with my decision though.Hope this helps.**update 8/9/19: MightyDNA let me know that in the last few days, they added 5 SNPs for gluten to their testing (at no charge to me). And they make sure every SNP they use is peer-reviewed beforehand so you can trust their results! Great customer service, and great standards!**

Ordered Dec 30. 2019 and have not received results

I was most impressed with MightyDNA’s speed. While prefacing this with the fact that I received and sent out my test during a period where the company wasn’t running any kind of special ( which delays process overall), it only took 15 days for me to receive my results, nearly a week faster than anyone else we tested.MightyDNA also gets high marks for how it it lays results out. They’re easy to follow, and while perhaps less specific than runner up AncestryDNA, they still precise. I understand there is some disagreement on the accuracy and validity of using DNA to predict geographic ancestry, but for me, my DNA ancestry matched what I knew (with a few suprises)

Pretty expensive to buy and never receive results.

I like the test kit, it's simple and easy to do. the saliva swab is so much easier than the spit type . I hate spitting for 5 minutes to fill a tube, but with this swab, you just swab inside of your cheek and done. I got the results back after about two weeks, it does show that I have a high probability of lactose intolerance from the genes that they tested, which I have suspected all along as whoever I drink milk, it would give me gas. This test just confirms it for me and way cheaper than going to see a doctor. I wished i tested for this 20 years ago.

THERE WASN'T A CONCLUSION THAT WAS DECIPHERABLE. ALL THEY DO IS DIRECT YOU TO FACEBOOK WHERE SOMEONE GOES OVER THINGS THAT ARE WRITTEN 9i CAN READ) BUT, WHAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU SPECIFFICALLY IS WHAT FOODS YOU ARE ACTUALLY SENSETIVE TO. SAVE YOU MONEY OR CONTACT A SEER.

When I first received my polygenic risk results I was a little confused but after contacting their customer service I understood results more clearly. They are very thorough and helpful. I've struggled with my with my weight for many years and recently I tried a fiber rich diet in hopes of controlling my weight. According to this test I am intolerant to certain wheat gluten which I had been eating a lot of. This test helped me realize that gluten could be preventing me from losing weight.
