I wanted to wait until I had a full month prior to leaving my review to give my honest feedback. I was very skeptical about spending the money on laser hair removal, but I am a Changed woman! This device is so amazing for many different reasons but the main one being that it actually works! I have some progress pictures below that show my five week progression, I am now on week six and I have no hair on my armpits and I have no hair on my legs! My favorite part is that it was very easy to use, there were no additional parts, and it was very easy to maneuver around my knees, I even did my toes, which is probably TMI, but it works! I also did my bikini line and it’s worked great. I will say it does get hot, it definitely doesn’t hurt, but it is a very strong tingly sensation. I always started on the most sensitive areas first, and then worked my way down my legs which seemed to be able to withstand it much easier than my thighs and armpits. It also maneuvers very well on my facial hair. Overall, I’m giving this a 10 out of 10.

Flimsy and not easy to use. This broke just after a few uses and would not work as one of the hinges broke.. there is no way to contact the manufacturer to get it fixed or resolved. Would not recommend buying.

I have been loving my laser hair removal treatments for a few areas at a medspa, but once your package is up it can get pricey! So while I was nervous to try this device and be in charge of my own laser hair removal destiny ... I was super hopeful when I bought it!! And wow!!! My expectations so far have been exceeded. Literally after one use on my full legs/feet I could see hair growth slowing and coming in lighter than normal. After two uses I was even more impressed. The device is super easy to use and doesn't take long to factor into your post shower routine once a week. It took me a minute to get the hang of the different light methods for areas of your body that are harder to reach like toes etc -- the instructions manual is really clear and helpful! Have already recommended this to friends/fam and will continue to! Cheers to a hairless 2025!

Device was functional for two treatments with the recommended one week rest period between treatments. The third and subsequent attempts at treatment saw the device misfiring, becoming unresponsive and not firing a laser when used as instructed. The device would "click", attempting to fire several times before the device would actually produce a flash. This issue is exacerbated by the device having more "detection errors" following the second treatment, the light sensors freezing up and preventing use (a visual indication on the sides of the device depicts how intense the light will be or if the device cannot fire). Device technically functions, but treatments take anywhere from 2x to 5x as long, each individual flash taking several misfires to work and requiring several Rule Zero unplugs to reset the sensors, as the device lacks a proper on/off switch. If I could return and refund this item, I would.

I’ve wanted to get laser for a while, but decided I would give at home laser a try first. I’ve been using the SmoothSkin Pure Adapt on my bikini line & armpits for a couple weeks now and have already noticed my hair growth has slowed down. I think this hair removal device is worth the investment since I can use it on multiple different patches/parts of my body. The design of the device is clean & chic - so I’m not embarassed to leave it out in my bathroom since I have roommate's. If you’ve been wanting to try an at-home laser device - SmoothSkin is the only brand I trust for body devices like this one. Overall, it was easy to use and I’m glad I invested in this
