Unexpectedly useful; An invaluable addition to any toolbox
I’ve been extremely impressed and pleased with this device. The price was very reasonable and it worked perfectly. I especially like that it’s an “all-in-one” solution for viewing hard (impossible) to reach places. The fact that it is complete with the sensor, the built in illumination, and the video screen for viewing and guiding the probe makes it much, much easier to use that older devices that required use of a phone for the viewing screen. That has the advantage of being able to record video or snap photos, but the convenience of this endoscope far outweighs that minor limitation. I bought this when I had to change the anode rod on my hot water heater. They are consumed over time and must be replaced to prevent corrosion of the water tank itself. Anyway, I wanted to examine the inside of the tank to see if it was still in good condition and to see if there was any buildup of scale at the bottom of the tank. This endoscope worked perfectly for the task. The resolution was plenty good enough to see around the sides of the tank and to determine that there was very little scale buildup at the bottom. So my project turned out very well and the scope was perfect for the job. This device worked so well that I now know I’ll be able to use it for numerous other unusual chores around the house that would never get done because, without it, they are way too difficult to undertake. Like checking under the refrigerator for dust buildup on the heat exchange coils, or looking for lost items in hard to reach places in the car, etc. It’s surprising how many tasks can be accomplished more easily with this handy gadget.

Great option if you don't need/want to link to a phone/tablet
I previously purchased an otoscope camera for my mom to use when cleaning wax from her ears. Since I have a technical background as a software developer, the setup wasn't too difficult, but it was still a little tedious, and in the age of computer viruses, phishing, and identity theft, I wasn't too comfortable installing a third party software from some unknown publisher. So when it came time to purchase an endoscope to view my pipes due to constant plumbing issues, I wanted one with a build in viewer. I had expected that I would need to pay a hefty premium for this, but was pleasantly surprised, that the cost was much more reasonable than I expected. As described, the kit came with the camera, some attachment accessories for things like a magnetic tip and little mirror. It might be that I am not using it correctly, but I do feel like the tips might easily get lost if I'm trying to use it with the camera in tight spaces, as there's nothing to clip it in place. Additionally, while the camera is touted as HD, the quality is nowhere near iPhone type quality. But if you are going in with the mindset that this is going to be used to give you a general idea of something that is typically not easily viewable (think inside pipes, gutters, under sofa, under radiator, etc), then you will be happy with this product. I bought this primarily to look into my pipes due to drainage issues, but have tested it out throughout the house, and am generally pleased with it's functionality. I would recommend it for personal household use.

Clear picture, easy to use, and incredibly handy for inspections
This endoscope camera has already paid for itself. The screen is bright and clear, and the image quality is much better than I expected for the price. The built-in lights are adjustable and make it easy to see details in dark or tight spaces without washing out the image. The semi-rigid cable is stiff enough to push where you need it but still flexible enough to maneuver around bends. I’ve used it to check inside walls, drains, and engine areas, and it’s been extremely helpful. The fact that it has its own screen means no phone or app is required — just turn it on and go. Build quality feels solid, and the waterproof rating gives peace of mind when using it around plumbing. Overall, this is a very useful tool for home maintenance, automotive work, or troubleshooting hard-to-reach areas. Highly recommend for anyone who likes having the right tool on hand

Handy inspection tool with solid image, minor quirks
This endoscope is surprisingly capable for the price. The 4.3” screen is bright and clear enough to get a sense of details in tight spaces. The semi-rigid 16.5 ft cord is long enough for most household or garage inspections, and the IP67 waterproofing makes it versatile for wet or dusty environments. The LED lights are adjustable, which helps when peering into dark cavities, though the brightest setting can sometimes wash out close-up details. Battery life is decent, but heavy use may require a recharge mid-project. It’s not as compact or flexible as higher-end scopes, so navigating super tight angles can be tricky, and the screen isn’t touch-enabled—menus take a little getting used to. Pros: •image is clear enough for a cheap that has an adjustable LED •Long, semi-rigid cord for extended reach •IP67 waterproof rating •Standalone screen, no phone needed Cons: •Bulkier than some competitors •Bright LED can wash out very close shots. •Menus are basic, camera could be more clear and hard to get perfect location facing. Bottom line: Great tool for DIY inspections or plumbing checks. Not perfect for extreme tight spots, but image quality and reach make it a solid choice.
