They changed the ingredients. These don’t taste anywhere as good as the original formula, which I absolutely loved!! These are no longer worth the price.

My wife even likes these fish and she doesn't normally like that sort of gummy. She usually likes the tart gummies, like Smart Sweets bears. We've tried a bunch of the Smart Sweets gummies, they all have their benefits and the gummy fish are a nice twist. I think they taste a little more like I recall red licorice to, but whatever it is, it's a fruity, cherry-punch like flavor that is very pleasant and has no aftertaste. I'm shocked anyone is still eating sugar nowadays. These types of candies don't bother my gut (like the older fake-sweeteners did) and they have great flavor and texture. I don't even miss "real" candy anymore, and my teeth certainly thank me, as well!

I have been trying to eat healthier recently but had a huge craving for sour candy and figured I could not be the only person who wanted a healthy alternative so I found a few options. Smart Sweets Sour Blast Buddies arrived first (I am still waiting on other brands to see if anyone does it better). I am literally obsessed. I was worried they wouldn’t be sour enough or would have a bad texture since the chewiness is important to me. It is a similar texture to welch’s fruit snacks but a little more hard and doesn’t get stuck in the teeth. It is the perfect level of tart for me, in fact I wouldn’t mind if some of the flavors were a bit more sour tbh. I am someone who loves sour things though, for me sour patch kids are not nearly sour enough. But I was incredibly happy with the sour buddies! I eat one bag throughout the day since they’re pretty filling tbh. I do think they’re a bit pricey but it’s worth it to me. I absolutely recommend. I have personally not had a problem with the boxes coming melted and they were delivered on a 90 degree day. I will say the coating on the candy isn’t as nice as the usual sour candies but I just don’t suck on them anymore. I also got the peach rings and i really sincerely hope they’re not actually discontinued because I really enjoyed them. I am not huge on regular peach rings, I got them for my boyfriend who loves peach rings and honestly I’m keeping them for myself lol. I tasted them because I was curious and I really loved them, I wouldn’t say they were sour at all, maybe a little bit tart but it’s definitely a sweet candy which I expected. The chewiness was about the same as the sour buddies.

I admit that when I first opened the box the second photo is how they looked and came and I thought there was a bag missing. It turned out it was at the bottom laying flat under all the other bags. Clearly, someone dropped all the bags out and stuffed them back in haphazardly upon packing. Prices excellent for six bags. At the store, they’re almost 5 dollars each. This price is almost 50% less per bag though you have to buy in bulk which is this box. I opened a bag and ate a few and I will say they don’t taste the same as the store bought ones. They are moist less chewy and less sweet. I don’t know if it means that they were more fresh and if that’s how they are supposed to taste? I prefer the store bought ones that are hard and sweet and sour on the outside and chewy as you eat them. For this reason I will not be buying these, don’t like the taste.

I am a diabetic and I love sweets. I love that. These only have 3 g of sugar. I love the consistency and the taste. I even have people to eat regular sugar that love them.
