Easy to install but can't get the back lighting to work and the wire for the 12 volt switch does nothing

First complaint is that there is no customer support to be found. The second complaint is that the dimmer switch does not actually provide a dimming function. It does nothing, no matter how I supplied power to the dimmer wire. It has randomly cut off on me several times during trail runs, I can only guess it's because of the bumps. I checked all of the connections and everything was still tight, it just wouldn't work. I got it to work again, somehow. I would suggest another brand if money isn't an issue. If it is an issue, this will work but with some issues. When it works it does its job well and I love the size.

Switch id location is wrong found this out after installed. In line fuses make the harness very bulky and "phone plug" that goes in switch panel did not stay clipped had to get creative.. but it works and good replacement to the other brand

Don't waste your money on this item, does not do what it says it should do.. You can not dim or turn on the back lighting at all, it only lights up when an item is running. Don't know what those two little lights above each button are for, on some buttons both little lights light up on others it's only one and it could be the left or right one, there's no rhyme or reason to it. Also the instructions on one page says white wire goes to the headlight switch (that doesn't work), on the next page it says it goes to the ignition. You would think that you'd only be able to use the switch panel when the vehicle was running. Nope, it will work when the vehicle is off, possibly draining your battery without you even knowing it. And you don't even get the nice little keypad, you get a much bigger one that's hard to mount in an visually pleasing way. This item is garbage, I'm actually pulling mine out and getting a different on. It's a $150 down the drain!

If you expected to receive an actual switch-pros unit for about 1/4 the cost, you're crazy. this only has on /off functionality, but for that price, and ease of installation, that's all I wanted. The people that put 1 star reviews on this, I am not sure as to why they even thought this would be the real thing. Yes the instructions that come with it are a total knock off of the switch pros, but installation is nearly the same.All in all, yes, id buy this again to simplify wiring installations.

This item is a fake of the switch pros sp 8100. It works turning on and off 8 different 12 volt sources on and off, but it does not function with the ignition. The information provided on the leaflette makes reference to a programming button, but there is no programming button like the switch pros device. There is no effect on the ignition and light wire on any of the outputs, neither does the dimmer function on the control panel. This item is a fake, and is not programmable to turn on any of the outputs with the ignition. Please stay away from this fake Chinese knockoff unit.

Great quality. I used it for my jeep xj extra upgrades.

Works as a switch panel. Issue is it doesn't dim the function does not work. Super bright at night which is distracting while driving. Also you push one button. The whole panel lights up instead of just the button you pushed.
