I have been giving this to my Goldens for over a year. They are outdoor grazers and would develop loose stools from the various vegetation they'd eat. Though this is not specifically for gut health, they have not had loose stools since being on this supplement and I've noticed they both have more energy. They absolutely love the taste and will continue licking their bowls after they're done eating. This powder dissolves completely and quickly with just a small amount of water. I will definitely continue to give this supplement.

I’m not usually one to be sucked into buying things I don’t typically need for my pets. I do what I can to keep their diets as natural and balanced as I can. I never had a serious problem with any of my pets medically (thank goodness) before my Leo boy. Leo is a white dog with pink features and so something about that gives him immunodeficiency. he gets sun burns, and seasonal allergies that include weepy eyes and itchy skin patches. The past 3 years we’ve been going every month Jan-July to get him a cytopoint allergy shot at his vet. All this to say that since I started the Native Daily with my Leo guy, he no longer needs to get cytopoint shots for his allergies every month (he’s only needed one this season when the pollen went up lol) and he doesn’t need sunscreen on his nose when he goes outside to play anymore. His wounds heal faster, he’s lost weight (oh yeah he was kinda chunky too 😅) but we’ve been purchasing and using the Daily for about 5 months now and I’m in awe of the 180° change I see in my special little snowman boy! I really like this product for my fur babies they really love the taste of it especially when I mix it with warm water! Within 2 weeks I noticed their coat is more shiny and healthy and they have more mobility than before! They used to have really itchy skin and now they’re more comfortable. Thank you native pet for the amazing support for our animals! 🙏🏼

Got this for my dog to try as he is almost a senior and seemed to be slowing down. Pros: It does work. After a few weeks on it I noticed he had better mobility, his coat was shiny, and his poop was perfect. I like that it was a powder so it’s easy to mix into the food. Also the canister it comes in is great. Cons: It smells funky which I kind of expected because of the ingredients. My dog ate it, but after a couple days he was less interested so I had to add bone broth. After about 2 months of it though he stopped finishing his meals and he’s always been a lick the bowl clean and then ask for seconds kind of guy. I stopped adding it to his food and he immediately went back to his usual eating habits. So all in all it works great and the packaging is well thought out, but because my dog doesn’t like the taste I won’t be getting it again.

I was using this product for many months with my dog and it was completely fine. I don’t think she really ever LOVED the taste of it as she was a bit hesitant to start eating it, unlike her dinner (without the supplement), but since it was adding some nutrients, I figured it was totally fine. I usually added a couple blueberries or something to help with the flavor for her. The real problem and why I am now reviewing this product is because my last order of this I received last week, caused my dog severe stomach issues and diarrhea. She was crying and having to go every other hour with just liquid coming out of her. I was very scared because I thought she had consumed something else and I didn’t know, but she is luckily not a dog that really gets into anything and I am very diligent about keeping things out of her reach. It took me about a week to figure out that the new can of powder was the problem because the same day that the new can arrived, I also got her some new collagen chew sticks. The same day, I had fed her the usual breakfast with the powder and then later in the day, I gave her the collagen stick. By night time, she was shaking and crying to go outside, so I let her out. She proceeded to do this multiple times throughout the night and refused to eat dinner and breakfast the next day (with and without the powder). I stopped feeding her the normal meals and gave her sweet potatos and boiled chicken the next two days to help her, which worked perfectly. I then gave her plain kibble the next day with a little broth, which was also completely fine. She seemed to return to normal by the 4-5th day, so I figured I’d return her to her normal kibble and supplement. I gave her a cup of kibble and 1 scoop of the powder… by noon, she was crying again to go outside and back to the liquid poop and shaking. Mind you, she is a 60lb dog and the normal serving is 1 scoop per 25 lbs. I usually give her 2 scoops in the morning. This is when I figured out that the only thing that had changed in her diet and had her reacting like that was the supplement, which tells me that the recipe either changed or this was a bad batch. Either way, I will not be buying this supplement anymore as I do not want to put my dog through something like that again. I understand things happen, but I couldn’t believe how violently ill she got that quickly, from only one scoop of it. Two words…. QUALITY CONTROL. I did not give her anymore of the powder after that and she went back to normal after a day or two. My dog is like one of my children and if this company cannot keep up with the quality of their products and cause something like this, especially when you cannot return it, I have no interested in purchasing from them any longer.
