Perfect fit!
A perfect cushion for meditation, but also for just watching TV. It's helping me to sit up straight again. Very comfortable.

Comfy but no inner lining
I really like the feel and size if this meditation pillow. It arrived quickly and the quality is good. My only complaint is that there is no inner sack containing the buckwheat hulls, so when my cat snagged the zipper open a little, I had buckwheat hulls EVERYWHERE in my carpet. It would also be nice to be able to remove the cover for washing, which you can't do now without having to refill the hulls. It is probably my fault for not reading the description closely. Having gotten a small beanbag bean stuck in my ear as a child, though, it does make me a little nervous to have those small hulls just free floating.

So good I ordered 2 more
I got one of these to sit on the floor with my kids while playing board games and everyone liked it so much, fights over who got to use it ensued so I ordered two more. Each person now has their own color. It’s a lot more comfortable for sitting on the floor, your tailbone will thank you. Also I can say that the kids love them.ETA: had these for a while now and they have survived lots of use and abuse (the kids like to use them as ‘stepping stones’ during play, hopping from one to the next) and no holes, no leaking buckwheat, and even in hot and humid Florida no bugs (these are kept indoors, with A/C). Still very happy we got these as they get a ton of use and we would miss them if we didn’t have them.

Great Made In USA Seating Cushion
I've used this cushion as my "chair" for a floor desk setup and it has been great. It's just the right height for me and when I need to move more seating into the living room to watch TV, this is plenty easy for me to pickup and move. I really like the fact that it's made in the US.

Comfortable Once Adjusted
I have never found a zafu that wasn't too hard, when ever out at yoga or on a retreat. I'm 5'5'' and average weight yet most lift me too high to have my crossed legs fall to the floor comfortably. And after a while of regular sitting they hurt my butt because of being too firm. I specifically ordered this zafu expecting it to be the same (too hard and high) but knew it was adjustable. And that's just want happened. If you like a firm, higher pillow, this one is great without feeling like a rock. The husks have a bit more give than other fillings. The best part for me: there's a zipper hidden below the convenient handle. I opened it up and kept pouring out the husks and testing the seat till it was just right. Now for the fist time I have a zafu that I can actually use. It's supportive yet a bit malleable now and I push the bulk to the back so I am sitting more upright while remaining very comfortable. The fabric is very thick and it's constructed quite well. I expect this zafu to last a VERY long time with lots of use. It was delivered very quickly and I the purple is just as it appeared in the photo.I'm really happy I have this now because using a stack of regular pillows never gave me the support or comfort that I have now.

This is the Zafu for You
This zafu is wonderful! I have been meditating for several years but was always hesitant to buy a zafu because often they were expensive and I figured I could live without one. After all, the Buddha sat on the ground under a tree and achieved enlightenment so why do I need a cushion? Well, I finally broke down and ordered this one because it is much cheaper than I have see elsewhere and I figured it could help with maintaining my posture and would benefit my practice. The construction seems good and so far I have no issues or complaints.Once you begin using the zafu, it will take some trial and error to figure out where to sit. It seems to be a matter of height to leg ratio as well as what position you meditate in. I have bad knees so I use the Green Tara position and sit towards the front of the zafu. I find this this helps maintain proper posture and spreads the weight between my butt and my knees to avoid too much pressure and provides solid stability. My sessions have extended and I can now sit for about 45 mins without any discomfort, and even then it is only minor.I assume there will be some settling or compaction of the Buckwheat hulls over time but I checked the website and you can order them for about $6.00 so I am not overly concerned. Overall I highly recommend this item if you are unhappy with your current meditation seat.

The perfect meditation pillow
I searched for just the right meditation pillow for quite a while and finally found this one. I'm very happy with it and am very glad I got it. I'd happily purchase it again. The size of this pillow is substantial and its easy to get comfortable nestling down into the buckwheat hulls. I find that it provides just the right amount of elevation so that I can have a good straight posture without any strain on my hips, back, legs etc. Its perfect! While I was shopping, I saw a lot of fancy silk and brocade zafus (for quite a lot of money) and thought all along that that just didn't seem very practical. Pretty, yes, but for a pillow that's going to be living on the floor in house with 3 dogs and a couple of rambunctious kids, that just seemed to be asking for trouble. The covering is a nice heavy canvas in a solid purple color (lots of other colors are available). Attached to one side is a sturdy nylon band carrying handle. There is a vertical zipper close by the handle so that you could remove some of the buckwheat hulls if desired for a more yielding feel. Or add some back, I guess. My only (relatively minor) issue is that the canvas cover you sit on is not removable for cleaning. There is no inner liner that actually holds the hulls. If you unzip the zipper all of the hulls could potentially escape. So casual cleaning is realistically not going to happen. If some dog vomits on it (it could happen, its happened before in my house) then I could just buckle down and do just that: empty all the hulls into a bucket, wash or dry clean and then refill.Oh well, a relatively minor caveat for a great, highly functional meditation pillow.

Great meditation seat
I use this as a meditation seat and headrest if we lay down. I am 6'2 and 225lbs. I do 30-minute sessions at work twice a week and this is really comfortable. This is already filled so no need to hunt for stuff to use as a filler. Also, the filling is decent and when you move it around you will see that it has a good weight to it. Very happy for the price i paid. I recommended it to my work colleagues. Also works great as a footrest. Would buy another if needed.

Excellent quality. Excellent shipping. Highly recommend.
Exactly as described, highly effective, supportive, and comfortable. Very rugged. I do wish it was slightly taller, as I have sciatica and need my hips a good deal higher than my knees. But this is no fault of the producer, just a note to anyone needing more than typical height. On bad back days, I simply situate it on it's edge instead of the flat bottom, and I have the height I need, though not the surface area. Still 5 stars....only problem is a "me problem."

Highly recommend
Oh my this pillow has has been helping me through since I ruptured my achilles tendon. I use it as a foot stool, sit on it to meditate, and I even use it behind me on the couch for extra support. It has softened so wonderfully, I am competing with my wife to use it. Great QUALITY product, without the huge price tag. I am in total love. I will be ordering other pieces.
