I am wearing it right now and wear it almost daily at home. It is soft, very stretchy and comfortable, but dense enough it makes you sweat. It helps me to keep my muscles tight. My only complaint is the end with the scratchy velcro should be a bit more narrow than the rest of it. It is difficult to get it exactly lined up as you are pulling it tight, so I end up with a little of that velcro sticking out each time and it hurts when it bites into your skin. I end up tucking it under.I have had this for over a year now and love it so much, I bought a second one. I suggest hand washing instead of by machine for the fabric to not wear out. It really helps to sweat off the excess water weight!

These might work to remove water weight from your waist and they might increase micro vascularity to your midsection thus causing fat to be utilized a little more from your midsection since heat definitely increases blood flow to an area. But what I use it for is to keep my core warm during my cardio workouts and to help me remember to engage my core stabilizers through out my weightlifting. If you are already pretty slim then you will see results after wearing it for just one good 1 1/2 hour plus work out but I mean you gotta be pretty low on body fat. Which causes me to believe that you are just shedding water weight from your torso. But hey, it makes you look more tapered until homeostasis kicks in and your body redistributes your water. I am 5'9" 165lbs. I have a 30" waist. I am usually around 170-175 lbs but I have shredded my body fat down to around 6 percent and have cycled off my creatine to increase my power to weight ratio for cycling and the belt fits very well at both weights as my waist only goes up an inch with a 5-10 lb gain in mostly water weight. So In conclusion, if you are pretty thin and using this belt will show near instant temporary results for slimming your torso. If you are fat, you probably wont see much slimming results but your close will probably fit a little better temporarily. If you are thin or fat and want to help stabilize your core and maintain an exercise induced thermo genic affect then this belt works pretty darn good.

After seeing all 5 star reviews I just had to try this for myself. After one use I could actually see a slight difference and after only 3 uses I could see a big difference. The belt definitely makes your mid-section very hot, while exercising. That being said for those of you looking for the ability to tone and slim while doing nothing this isn't for you. This product is designed to help your workout not to tone your abs while you eat potato chips on the couch. I do recommend this to anyone who's being trying to tone their abs but hasn't been able to get the top layer of fat to melt away.

Even thought I gave it 2 Stars, it's OK for the money. It's short and I don't like the backing. I have a McDavid that is a bit longer, has a 'rubber', I guess, backing and the velcro belt is not the same width as the belt - that can be problem for the Slender 8. For a few dollars more, you could get a better belt.

I think this trimmer is okay. This is the first one I have ever tried, so I don't have anything else to compare it to. I have used it now, for 2 weeks and have not noticed any lost to my mid-section. However, I don't sweat much and I'm not that large in my mid-section either. As far as the product itself, the velcro does get a little uncomfortable, because as you tighten the belt around your waist, the belt gets a little thinner and the velcro strap is larger then the belt.

Just what I was looking for. I have a 40" waist and a 44+" belly. That leaves another 4" or so for someone even larger. No smell, the Velcro works perfectly and the belt feels great. I thought all the belts were 48". Not so.I ordered a second belt a few weeks later which was 37". They are supposedly one size, 40".Thrilled with the extra large belt I did get and would order another when they become available.

First, all these waist trimming belts are useless for losing fat! Even if you manage to sweat a little more, you are not losing fat. You are just getting slightly more dehydrated, and you should be drinking LOTS of water instead to keep your body healthy. The only way to lose fat is to run a calorie deficit. The sauna stuff is all bogus, too. It is not with this particular product. It is with all products of this type.Well, what I do like about this "type" of product is that it does offer some back support and better posture. For that, it is legit. That's why I wear them.So, I've had a few of this "type" of product. They don't last very long. They stretch out or get funky or whatever. Hint: Usually a little after 30 days. ;) I like the general concept of these products for back support, but I give this one a single star (unlike SOME others) because the Velcro is full width. That means you will get all scratched up wearing this thing because the hook side (not the fuzzy loop side) is the side towards your body. You need to buy one that is about 70% width Velcro. That is because these stretch a little bit and get narrower plus you need a little bit of non-Velcro so that you don't have to attach and reattach it a half dozen times so that it is perfectly aligned. Even then, I find the scratchy Velcro obnoxious on this product and scratches me all up. The only solution for me is I wind up folding the Velcro into a W-shape -- all bunched up and somewhat ridiculous-looking as well as uncomfortable if you lay down where it is bunched up.I thought I'd try this on a whim due to the Lifetime Warranty. I'll try another brand or stick with the Bracoo one which has a narrow 60% Velcro tab.
