Remote power control to just about anything
We live rural and are on a well water system. Due to the distance our well is from our house we have a booster pump located near the house for increasing the water pressure to the house and the lawn irrigation system. I have our booster pump plugged into this smart plug so I can turn it on and off remotely from my phone as needed via the Yolink app. It works great and the app tells you when the smart plug is on or off. This plug can be used for many things like seasonal exterior lighting, water fountains etc...

A Great Product from a Great Company
Constantly exceeding my expectations. I own a lot of Yolink hardware and am deep into Home Automation with Home Assistant. All work seamlessly. After using a lot of the devices for a long time, I had one failure. The App on my phone let me know there was an issue. Therefore, the system (includes all of the components) are monitored for health. A rare and complete level of Systems Engineering. On the one failure, I emailed Yolink with the results of the very simple and straight forward troubleshooting. Boom. They were sending me a replacement in minutes. Absolutely outstanding. I have not seen a company at this level in a while. It brings tears of joy to my eyes to find a company like this one. I can only hope that other companies take notes and follow this outstanding example.

Comes with two software features that are missing from some other brands
This outlet has two important features I'm happy to see:* It can switch a device (like a fan) based on events from a YoLink Moisture Detector* It can notify when an appliance draws current over a thresholdThis lets me set up a notifications and actions for when appliances are running (like a reminder to empty the laundry) and dry things out when they get damp.
