Don't buy it for the rear light
Pros: Fit is excellent. Very comfortable. Magnetic latch is great once you get used to it.Cons: The battery used by the rear LED light was a nightmare.I bought this helmet about 8 months ago at Costco, mainly because my wife insisted I wear a helmet while riding and I'm too old to start lying to her. Well, I probably could not have made a better choice as a starter helmet. My head swells when I get hot with exercise, but this helmet is just a twist away from being the perfect, comfortable fit. It's very lightweight and well-ventilated so that on hot days, it's almost like wearing nothing. And when it is cold outside (it's cold around here a lot) you can adjust the size so that you can wear a light knit cap underneath and still have the helmet securely fit.The magnetic strap latch took a little getting used to for me, but now it's a one-hand quick operation to latch or unlatch it. I do want to criticize the straps: they tend to loosen up quite frequently and re-tightening them can be a pain, in some cases, you actually need to remove the helmet to do it right. I wish they used the same kind of system used on motorcycle helmets. The straps are adjustable to fit around different sized ears and those adjustment are quick and easy. If you use earbuds to listen to your phone (it's legal around here for bicyclists) you have to wait until the helmet's on before you stick 'em in your ears. (BTW, if any of you know of good, noise-cancelling earbuds that can effectively block wind noise on the bike, please respond below this review). Finally, let me tell you about the rear light on the back of the helmet. Man, that was one of my favorite things about this helmet when I saw it at Costco. Press the light once for a solid back light, press it twice for a blinking light. MOST excellent… until the battery lost power. Once that happened, the light would come on while pressing on it, but it turned off as soon as you let it go.You have to pry the light assembly out of the helmet. For me, it took a flathead screwdriver and a lot of stress worrying that I was going to break it before popped out. Luckily, it came out before I broke it. But then, I had to go get my precision screwdrivers (specifically the smallest size—PH00— phillips head I had) to open the assembly to get out the depleted battery, a CR2032 lithium button battery. Because I have numb fingers I also needed a needle nose pliers to remove the battery once I opened the assembly. At the beginning of the review I called changing the battery a nightmare, and it is… a brief, 15 minute-or-so kind of nightmare. One more thing about this light: I saw absolutely nothing that would make me think it was weatherproof. Seriously. No O-rings, no real seal around the separate sections of the assembly. Use it in the rain at your own risk, but don't rely on the helmet's light to keep you safe. Get a real watertight rear light for your bike. It's worth it.

Seems like a good helmet
I don't get the other reviewer knocking off two stars because the straps are grey rather than black (though that's true on mine as well. More important to me is that the helmet is CSPC rated, which I didn't see described anywhere in the description (I hope that's an indication of quality). I'd also note that I have a large head and this helmet just barely fits me--I have to open up the adjustment ALL the way, to the point that I'm not certain if it still fits "properly" (though it's entirely comfortable).Nice extras are the magnetic latches--which take a little getting used to but then are very nice--and the built-in LED on the back.
