I switched from Sports Research Collagen peptides to these Vital Proteins. These are a tad sweeter (which I wanted), and the solubility is better in my coffee. I take collagen for skin and joint improvement - this brand seems to be effective. While the Sports Research did fine they seemed to have changed the mixture last year, and it wasn’t quite as sweet and also didn’t dissolve as well. I’m frankly only using it at half strength to save money, and all seems good.

Loved the rich chocolate taste hated the price

This is the best collagen out there, my favorite is the chocolate, i add it to my coffee every morning. I've been taking this for a little over two years, I've noticed my hair is thicker and more healthy, my skin is really soft, and my joints don't hurt as much as they used to. I'm 61 years old, I've looked into other collagen but none have what I'm looking for. I keep coming back to this product, the chocolate tastes great but I have used the no flavor one too which is fine. It's easy to use, in hot or cold beverages.

Great taste hard to mix.

Are you doing things in order to loose weight, but you have a sweet tooth that won’t shut up? Buy the largest container of this amazing product that Amazon has available! It definitely satisfies my craving for chocolate and other unhealthy sugary foods! I have used this for a long time. I do one thing differently than the manufacturer’s recommendation. I only put one level tablespoon in a large coffee cup. I think the directions recommend 3-4T. I did that the first time. I would never say that something had too much chocolate flavor, but for my second cup of coffee I decided to try an experiment. I just used what I already mentioned. It is SUCH an outstanding product, that from that time on, 1 level tablespoon deliverers a RICH chocolate flavor, that makes me feel like I am drinking a high quality hot chocolate MINUS a sugar bomb into your bloodstream! It has only 25 calories per tablespoon. I signed up to receive it automatically, guaranteeing that I won’t run out, and it costs less. Not even the manufacturer sells the extra large size that Amazon has. I used to buy this at Costco, but for some reason they stopped selling it in their warehouses. You won’t find it less expensive than on Amazon, I did my homework. The company that makes this, offers different flavors, but all I want is this delicious chocolate!

I drink an entire pot of coffee on my own by lunchtime most days. My work schedule is most likely to blame for this and I do like a little bit of flavor in my coffee. I normally do a peppermint mocha blend so when I found these collagen peptides and mocha, I snatched them right up. They don’t change the flavor or the taste of my coffee and they’re not grainy and there’s no residue left in the cup afterwards.

I am a chocolate lover so I thought I would try this flavor since it has received a lot of good reviews. I have been taking Vital Proteins for years but normally use the Vanilla or no flavor version. My first issue with the chocolate flavor is that you have to use 4 tablespoons instead of 3 to get the suggested daily dosage. Beyond that, I really dislike the artificial taste of the chocolate when using the 4 tablespoons. Other reviews have mentioned that they are only using 1 tablespoon so maybe that is the difference. However, that also means you are not getting the full daily serving. Will not buy this flavor again. And, the new cardboard container is awful but is the same for all of the flavors.
