Used throughout Europe to power Dyson Airwrap and various chargers. Functioned flawlessly. No issues with European 50hz vs US 60hz frequency. Very quiet hum from the cooling fan while active, no problem sleeping with it on the bedside table. Would recommend.

Yang gave the best customer service that I can say I’ve received, ever. I bought this item to use on a trip out of country, to use with my hair/beard clippers. When I tried to use my clippers, they sounded like a lawn mower and were running at a very high speed. I contacted Yang and he talked me through the process of fixing my issue. My clippers still didn’t work. After some questions he informed me that clippers from the US (50hz) would operate this way in Europe (60hz). He then informed me that he would be glad to issue a refund of my purchase price.This was a surprise to me because the item wasn’t faulty, just wouldn’t work with my clippers. I want to personally thank Yang for his service and would say to all that if you want a converter to run your items, except clippers, please give this product a try.Steve.

It's heavy! I start off by saying this, because it will take over a pound of your baggage weight, when its intended purpose is foreign travel to places with 220V where you need 110V. The design is nice, and it's fully functional, though admittedly I did not test it with higher voltage items on our recent trip to Finland and Estonia. I thought it was quite quiet, compared with other voltage converters I own and use. There was no loud buzz when running. It's very solid for sure (but again also heavy)! The color options are very nice. It comes with additional plugs for UK, Australia, and most parts of Asia, whereas the native plug fits standard EU outlets. If you need to bring higher wattage items when traveling, this converter is a good one. Most lodgings when traveling will likely have those higher wattage items already available for you (eg. hair dryer). I also like that this claims to have sine wave technology, which is safer for electronic devices like laptops. If you're tight on baggage weight, this converter may not be a best option for you, but if you want a solid, well made converter able to handle higher wattage items, this is a good choice! If you're moving overseas and are bringing 110V items to use with you, this would be a great choice.

We are traveling internationally and bought two. They are lite weight and great to use. There’s a fan that keeps it cool very lite white noise. Just don’t forget it at your hotel as sometimes it blends into the bedside table!!!
