My dog looks very clean after I wash him with this. This is now my favorite shampoo to use for them. I think I won't be using anything else but this now

I tried the MiconaHex+Triz Shampoo on my dog and found a lot to like about it. The product is specifically formulated to address fungal and bacterial skin conditions and also claims to support barrier repair. The 16-oz size is generous enough to last several washes, and I appreciate that it is safe to use on multiple animals, including dogs, cats, and even horses. In use, the shampoo lathers well once the coat is thoroughly wet. It contains 2% miconazole nitrate and 2% chlorhexidine gluconate, along with ceramides and essential oils like lavender and lemongrass. These ingredients seem designed to calm irritated skin while fighting infection. The directions recommend leaving it on the coat for 5–10 minutes before rinsing, which allows time for the medicated ingredients to work effectively. There are a few things to keep in mind. Because this is a medicated shampoo, it can dry the coat more than a standard gentle shampoo. If your pet has sensitive skin or a dry coat, you might need to follow up with a conditioner or limit how frequently you use it. The scent from the essential oils is fairly strong, which might not appeal to everyone. It is also on the pricier side compared to regular shampoos, especially if frequent baths are necessary. Finally, you need to be careful during use and avoid contact with your pet’s eyes or mucous membranes as the label warns. Overall, if your pet struggles with fungal or bacterial skin issues, MiconaHex+Triz Shampoo is a solid option. It seems to deliver on its promise to treat skin problems, and the inclusion of ceramides for barrier repair makes it a well-rounded choice among medicated shampoos. For pets with healthy or very sensitive skin, though, I would recommend using it sparingly or following a veterinarian’s guidance.

My dog suffers from severe dry skin and allergies and nothing else has worked until I tried this shampoo. After consistent use his hair started to grow back and he is finally comfortable and happy again. It has been the most effective product I have found for his skin problems. Key strengths: Antifungal and antibacterial formula that targets common causes of skin irritation Provides soothing relief for itching flaking and dryness Safe for dogs cats and horses which makes it versatile for different pets Promotes healthy coat regrowth in pets with long-term skin issues Gentle enough for frequent use without making the skin worse Limitations: Has a medicinal smell instead of a fresh scent Works best with regular use which can mean going through the bottle quickly for larger pets Bottom line: This is a veterinary-quality shampoo that truly works. It gave my dog real relief from allergies and helped restore his coat after years of issues. I highly recommend it for pet owners dealing with stubborn skin conditions.
