Maxone 1TB Ultra Slim Portable External Hard Drive HDD USB 3.0 Compatible with PC, Laptop, Charcoal Grey

I needed to upgrade from my old external hard drive that had less space and needed two USB ports (this one only needs one). Found this one with good reviews and gave it a shot. It is perfect! Easy to use - just plug it in and start copying! Much faster than my old one. I transferred about 130 GB worth of data in about an hour (that includes the time it took me to locate and organize my files). Very pleased - highly recommend.

Great SSD. Works as expected. It's the size of 3 samsung 1TB SSDs stack together in a square. It's large and not small. Almost the size of your hand. However, it works on my modded PS3, PS4, and CPU. It's versatile and quick. It DOES NOT heat up like the samsungs 1TB SSDs. Those thing heat up bad, very bad. This one does not. Must buy. Would and will purchase again. I got 700GB.

This item is necessary and I urge everyone to get one. I know how horrific it is to be hacked, my previous Mac was hacked as well as my Facebook account, and it was very devastating. Facebook decided I did something wrong and I am henceforth in Facebook Jail forever, thanks to the guy who hacked me. And my Mac died at the same time although it wasn't old. So I strongly urge you to back up everything and be wary! Fortunately I could get my files back from the cloud, but had to buy another Mac. Be prepared, be wary! I feel safer now with this item and it works great and has a large storage capacity.

I like that these are compact and easy to install. My 11 year old was able to install this himself and easily move his games over to the external drive. Definitely happy with the buy.

Go this to back up new computer, plug in and format and go, great so far, even works with windows 11 and that is something

Apr 1, 2023 11:26 AMI purchased the Maxone 500GB drive and once I put important data on the drive no longer shows the blue led light, which the computer will not read the drive anymore. I tried it on two other computers and it will not read it anymore. I do not want to send this drive back because of the personal data it has on it. I can send you and video showing you the drive don't work anymore, but I am asking from a customer stand point to replace the drive with another. Under Disk Management it is labeled (DISK Unknown, Not Initialized). I can hear the drive spinning, but the blue light doesn’t appear like before, tried two other cable end to this Maxone drive and still no help. I tried to pull the data off this drive with software and it would not work for me, I attempted to Initialize the disk, even tried to rebuild, etc. nothing seems to work. I have a lot of personal data on this drive and do not want to send it back to you, I prefer to destroy the drive myself. I can send you back all the pieces after destruction if that's an option. I am not trying to lose any more money on your product, I even brought third party software to try and delete the data and still that didn't work. So, I am losing more money on my end. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have only had it for two months but at one point during moving, I left it out in the rain for 3 days....and after drying out, it still worked!
