I have been taking all of my in-laws negatives from the early 40-70s and adding them all to a thumb drive..I have to say this item is super.

Love this simple, little old-school, handy, single slide viewer tool. For currently $17.99 its worth it to me (even though I requested this in exchange for a Vine review) to be able to conveniently view a slide at a time while working on my photo preservation project. After scanning slide after slide with a slide/negative/photo preserving app on my phone sometimes I get almost blind and wonder if I've scanned a particular image or not. With this I can easily see it through the view finder without having to search for a source of uncluttered light coming in through a window to try and get a glimpse of my slide. I used to have something like this but it burnt up and no longer works. Its not new technology but it is handy and useful. The image is great and well lit. Comes with the batteries needed to operate it. Easy to put the slide in and out. I like it!

El equipo realmente cumple con lo que ofrece, es muy simple y facil de usar, en mi caso me permitio digitalizar mas de 1,300 fotografías de maner muy rápida.

The single most awkward, clumsy un-ergonomic unit I have ever tried to use for anything. Invisible markings on the buttons of which there are way too few. Endless repetition of steps, and if you turn it off you have to re-start your computer for it to re-appear on the desktop via USB. If you have roughly a million years you could digitize some of your slides with this, but most likely it will end up on the from lawn, having come forcefully through the window.
