Artimino Tuscan Countryside-Cream Dinner Plate, Fine China Dinnerware

The tableware is very pretty but extremely prone to chipping. Purchased service for 8 with extra bowls, serving pieces etc. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend..

in 2018 we updated our kitchen and got new dishes. We got them all from Dillards, some from their store, some had to be delivered. The cream Tuscan countryside 12 piece place settings with extra serving bowls, 4 medium and 2 large, 2 platters, salt and pepper,, coffee cups, cereal bowls, some rameken size bowls. They immediately started chipping, too easily in our opinion. But we kept them. Over 2 years they chipped fairly often. It is now August 2020 and my husband and I decided to replace these dishes with something else, because it seemed like everyday another one was chipping. So I pulled all of them out of our cabinets to get the ones that were still good, and throw away the ones that were chipped. I could not believe it. Out of 12 place settings 2 dinner plates WERE OK, 1 Bowl was OK, 5 coffee cups were OK, the 2 larger serving bowls were OK, (we did not use the larger ones very often), but the 4 medium serving bowls were all bad, the 2 platters were bad, sugar /creamer was OK., 7 ramekens were OK, salt and pepper chipped. We are so mad at the bad quality of this product. A very few of my 12 place settings, etc that were not chipped. will go to charity. I had to throw the rest in the trash today. We went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and ordered all New 12 place settings FIESTA ware, with serving bowls, salt and pepper, couple of ramekens. We saw good reviews on internet, and salesperson at Bed, Bath, and Beyond said FIESTA was a very good brand,, made in USA. about FIESTA and decided to buy them. We can't wait for them to come in.

I just threw away 3 more mugs from this set. They were all chipped despite only having been used a few times.
