Dr. Seuss's You Are Kind: Featuring Horton the Elephant

This is my go to baby shower book. It’s a quick read so 2 yr old granddaughter loves it and my 3 yr old grandson can stay interested for that long. Such a sweet message for young ones to learn.

It’s not really a book to read. It’s more something like a giftable keepsake. You can write a person’s name in it. I would give it to a young child for some special occasion f.e. a birthday instead of a greeting card.

In a world where there is a lot of unkindness, this little gem is a nice "greeting card" gift for those who have been kind, or a nice reminder for all of us to be kind. I sent one to all of our grandchildren and bought some for those who have been kind to me. I have received nothing but rave notices from those who received my gift.

I read to my grandchildren. They love the Dr Seuss books !!!! Even the little ones !!

Graduation from college gift for granddaughter who will teach youngsters. Made her a Seuss collection for her school room.

I gave this a good rating because the content of the book was great (as was expected) however, the pages were upside down. I sent an email to the publisher but received no response. I want to keep the book because of its uniqueness however would like to have one that is not upside down, as I plan to use it as part of a workshop. Not sure where to go from here...

While it isn’t the same as other Dr.Seuss books it’s still a wonderful little gift. Consider it more of a larger card than a book, as it’s short with only a small bit of wording on each section. I have it as a gift and they absolutely adored it.

The images are awesome and they enliven the readers and listeners (toddlers). The message is simple yet profound and life changing - Kindness - is the theme that runs through every page. It's a wonderful book and I highly recommend for even babies as old as 6 months.

WE used this as the card for a retiring principal. It was appropriate and there is a lot of room for many people to write sincere notes!
