NORTIV 8 Men's Military Tactical Boot Zipper Lightweight

I’m very happy with these NORTIV 8 boots. I’ve worn them to work, and they are very comfortable to walk in. They feel lightweight on my feet, and the size fits me well. I also really like the brown color and the overall design. They have a nice, rugged look that works well for both work and casual outings. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking for comfortable, lightweight boots for everyday use.

I'm 77 and my feet have taken a beating over the years. From running to workouts to being on my feet all day, it's now hard to find any shoe that feels comfortable. I'm still very active and need foot protection for my outdoor chores. From day one, these boots never let me down. Fit and comfort are excellent. So far they've shown very little wear. The zippers make getting them on and off easy. I have some Columbia snow boots I usually wear when the snow flies. I think I'll give these Nortiv's a try this winter. They're waterproof.

Really comfortable! Wear them all day and they have been super nice on my feet. They seem comparable to garrison boots I had from another well known athletic shoe brand. They feel like running sneakers to me and the treat on them is really nice. The tread seems long wearing, not vibrant soles long, but really good nonetheless. These are pretty much all nylon upper so I wouldn’t expect them to hold up to the rigors of daily wear in the woods or anything, but they are very well made. They might surprise me if I put them through their paces in the field. I mostly wear them for riding my motorcycle and when I do work inside a building. Zipper feature like a tanker boot is nice and makes it easy to get on and off without replacing.

First, they are comfortable, with thick soles that don't let you feel every pebble. And they are pretty much 100% synthetic, which keeps them pretty light for a 12W boot. But with a 12W foot, the side zipper does not allow enough for me to get my foot in without unlacing the boot at least three sets of eyes. Maybe if I was younger, and more flexible. I have worn many sets of side-zip boots from other boot brands. Once on, they are decently snug, and the ankle support feels pretty good. I did notice some irregular lumps in the insole area of the left boot, but since these were just too hard to put on without unlacing at least three sets of eyes every time, I did not investigate. If you have a smaller foot, these might be worth a try, they did seem comfortable during a quick try-on, feeling very much like a light-weight hiking boot. I am returning this pair because of the side-zip and laces not working for my 12W foot.

Probably the best bang for the buck. I had limited break in period then took these bad boys to Iceland for a week. Hiked to the top of an active volcano, then down to a hot spring, then off to a glacier (never slipped) then up multiple waterfalls and all over a volcanic beach. It was about 40° and rainy. Never got cold, never slipped or got caught, never got a rock in my shoe, never had sore feet. I have some expensive boots as well and I probably won't even wear those again. These are on point.

January 1st to August 1st. This boot lasted 7 months. The upper is coming apart, the toe cap part of the sole is coming loose on both shoes. On the other hand, for the price, I can afford to buy a pair every 6 months and it's still cheaper than one pair of Merrel's or Keen's. It's super comfortable. It's one of only a few if these type of boots that come in Wide sizes. I'm a service technician, so I'm always crawling across a construction site, or through an attic, or under a counter, so I'm very hard on my shoes. If I was just walking around in them I'm sure they would last a year or more. They're cheap boots with unusual quality for the price point. If I could find something for double the price that would last over a year I would probably do that, but so far I haven't been that lucky. I'm likely to order these again. One critical note: There is nothing about these that qualify them as "Motorcycle" boots. The ankle is not protected more than any boot. The material is not made of abrasive resistant materials. There isn't even a shift-protector on the toe, which is right where mine is coming apart. These will not protect your feet during a MC accident. They're just boots.
