A Powerful AI Recorder That Saves Time and Keeps You Organized
I've been using the Plaud NotePin for meetings, interviews, and everyday voice notes, and it's quickly become one of my favorite productivity tools. It's incredibly lightweight and easy to wear or carry, so I hardly notice it's there throughout the day.The AI transcription is surprisingly accurate, even when there are multiple people speaking, and the summaries save me a lot of time by pulling out the key points instead of making me listen to the entire recording again. Setting it up was simple, and syncing recordings to the app has been smooth and reliable. The audio quality is clear, the battery lasts long enough for a full day of use, and I really like having my notes organized automatically instead of sorting through dozens of recordings. Whether you're a student, business professional, content creator, or someone who attends frequent meetings, this device makes capturing important conversations much easier.Overall, it's a smart investment if you want an AI-powered recorder that combines excellent audio quality with fast transcription and useful summaries. It has made my workflow more efficient, and I would definitely recommend it.

If I Could Give It 10 Stars I Would.
What can I say? This device has been a game changer in my business. As a construction Superintendent I write a lot of documents and reports. I do inspections, write employee reports and document the process of construction in a very detailed way.I was on the fence about this at first because of the higher price tag and the $124 a year subscription fee that I'm paying but after using it for two months now I am very pleased and very happy with this purchase.I wear it on my wrist like a watch and when I start walking a job site I will push record and it will listen to everything that I say while I'm on the job site it will pick up the smallest details and even this whispers that are said. It will then take that recording and process it and send it through an AI generator and make a complete detailed professional report based on any template that I decide to use. I even made a custom template based on a form that I've been using for years in my business. My customers, vendors and coworkers are quite impressed with the quality of the written documents that I'm sending them these days. I was recently required to send a written document to the government concerning a job site problem. I was not really sure how to write this document in a way that would make the issue easily understood. I simpley dictated all of the details of the problem into my notepin and the Plaud program did the rest. It wrote a very detailed and professional repairt that required very little editing on my part.I am simply amazed by this product and it keeps getting better the more I use it. Every document I have made has required very little editing. It understands most of what I say. It will also understand others in the conversation and identify them by name if you say their name during the conversation. This is the best tool I have ever used in my business..

Data organizing tool.. this is MAGIC!!
Oh.. my.. goodness! If you want to save a massive amount of time and energy, buy this tool! It records meetings and then outlines the speaker (s) notes into strengths, weaknesses, suggestions, a mind map, etc. Stop taking tedious, indecipherable notes, stop typing for hours to analyze meeting data.. this tool does it all!!

My Plaud NotePin is My Note Taker and AI Assistant All-In-One!!
This Plaud NotePin device has helped me evolve from the dinosaur age of hand written note taking- to a modern day AI wiz. With so many meetings and virtual trainings, I was unorganized and overwhelmed with trying to keep up with all my hand written notes and notebooks. Now, I'm so much more efficient and organized with my meeting notes and training information being digital files thanks to Plaud!I first heard about Plaud during a conference and decided that I needed to give it a try. I am so grateful I did, it's been such a game changer because now Plaud is my note taker and AI assistant all in one.I record all my meetings and trainings with my Plaud NotePin device or through the Plaud app on my phone, laptop, or iPad. Once the meeting is over I just select which template I want my notes formatted into and then the digital file is completed within minutes. The Plaud application is embedded with AI tools to address whatever needs you may have. There is a free version of the application that limits the number of recorded minutes you can transpose into files, but I invest the $20 a month for unlimited minutes and access. There are tons of options for formatting the recorded transcripts of your meetings and training notes. You can choose to have the transcripts formatted into one of the hundreds of premade template files, a detailed word for word transcript file, a summary with a to-do list, and you can even have it create a training presentation for your staff. This Plaud NotePin device has made so much of a difference for me at work that several of my coworkers have since purchased this device and now use it on a daily basis as well.

badly designed product. Can i still return it?
Wow, what a brilliant piece of engineering this is. I mean, clearly this product was designed by someone with a PhD in Quantum Complexity and a minor in “How to Confuse the Masses.” Because obviously, everyone using it must have a lab coat and 180 IQ, right?I’m loving how intuitive the recorder/pin is, especially the part where I can’t tell whether it’s a short buzz or a long buzz or just my imagination. Am I starting a recording? Ending it? Summoning a spirit? Who knows! And of course, it’s completely reasonable to ask people to hold their thoughts mid-conversation so I can figure out if this thing is even on. That’s not awkward at all.And let’s not forget the genius feature where if you accidentally leave it on (which, again, totally not your fault given how unclear the feedback is), it records for five hours straight. Four times. That’s 20 hours of audio just sitting there, hogging space, and blocking me from listening to the one recording I actually need. Because, yes, apparently this system requires every single file to download before you can access any of them. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.Honestly, unless frustration was the main product feature, I’m not sure what the goal here was. So here’s a humble request from a regular human with modest brainpower: please take this thing back and give me a refund. Oh, and kindly spare me a PhD-level response with some convoluted workaround. I’m not trying to earn a degree here. I just want a product that works. Thanks!

Good device. Needs on/off functional improvement
Generally speaking a very good product works very well, picks up conversations clear across the room. It's excellent. However it's difficult to know when it's turned on and off. You can press it and check later and your conversation was never recorded because it wasn't activated. Somehow you have to press it in a very specific fashion otherwise it won't turn on and the light is very tiny and on the front of it. When you look down at your pin you don't see the light. You have to turn the pin upward towards you in order to see if it's on or off and even then it's difficult

Discrete and effective
Best recording device I’ve used. Discrete enough to clip to a jacket pocket and mic still effective.

Amazing concept, but feels early: disconnected notes, weak summaries, high cost
I bought the PLAUD Note and later tried the PLAUD NotePin because I genuinely love the idea: a tiny, always-ready capture device that turns my spoken thoughts into usable notes without friction. In practice, though, the product still feels like it’s in baby stages. I’m writing this review from a place of wanting PLAUD to win — but the current experience is too inconsistent for the price (especially once you factor in the subscription). What I like (the “love” part):The overall concept is excellent: capture life/meetings/ideas instantly and let AI organize it.Hardware form factor is convenient, and it can be a great “always available” recorder. The workflow could become a true productivity multiplier if the software catches up.What disappointed me (core issues):It treats every note like it’s isolated.Real thinking isn’t separated into neat, independent clips. My ideas build over days/weeks. Right now, the app experience feels like “one audio → one summary,” instead of building a connected knowledge base. The summaries + notes aren’t strong enough. They often miss nuance, flatten important details, and don’t reliably extract the “why it matters,” decisions, or next actions. I can do better by exporting the transcript and using ChatGPT myself.Audio quality is underwhelming for the category. For voice-first products, audio quality is everything. My recordings sound lower quality than I expected, which hurts transcription accuracy and usefulness. The subscription value feels off.Paying around $25/month for PLAUD AI (at least in my experience) didn’t consistently unlock “wow.” It sometimes connects ideas across notes, but:the connections aren’t deeply intelligent yetand most importantly: it doesn’t reliably SAVE the AI work (the organization, stitched summaries, and knowledge you build). That’s a deal-breaker. If I refine an output, it should persist like a living document. What PLAUD needs to improve so the product doesn’t fail (my wish list):Persistent AI workspace: when I ask the AI to connect notes, merge themes, build a master summary, or generate a plan, it must save as a durable artifact I can revisit and keep improving.A “second brain” model, not a “note list”: topics/projects/people should be entities. Notes should attach to those entities automatically.Better organization primitives: folders/tags + projects + timelines + “link this note to…” should be fast.Higher audio quality / stronger noise handling: if the hardware capture isn’t excellent, everything downstream suffers.Export-first philosophy: clean exports (txt/doc/markdown), timestamps, speaker labels where possible, and easy batch export.Trust + privacy clarity: give users confidence about where audio/transcripts live, what’s processed locally vs cloud, and retention controls.Who this is for right now:Early adopters who enjoy experimenting and can tolerate rough edges.People who mainly want quick “good enough” capture and don’t need deep knowledge management.Who should wait:Anyone expecting a true “connected intelligence” system.Anyone who needs consistently great summaries and a durable knowledge base.Bottom line:PLAUD is a fantastic idea that currently behaves like a collection of disconnected clips. With persistent AI outputs, better audio, and real second-brain organization, this could be a category-defining product. Today, I’m not there yet — I’m more productive exporting the transcript and using ChatGPT to do the real intelligence work.

Produto Top! Capta bem o áudio e faz resumos de qualidade
Produto top! 👍🏻Recomendo!

This is an Absolute Game-Changer!
I am absolutely in love with this device! I've been using the Plaud NotePin for a few weeks now, and it has already become an indispensable part of my daily routine here in Halifax. The hardware is sleek and discreet, but the real magic is the AI transcription and summarizing. It has genuinely made my life more organized and productive. I can't recommend it enough. For anyone wondering how it can fit into your life, here are five examples of where this has been a lifesaver for me:* Work Meetings: I can now be fully present and engaged in discussions instead of having my head down trying to type every single detail. I just let the NotePin record, and the AI summary it generates afterwards is incredibly accurate, capturing action items and key decisions perfectly.* University Lectures: I wish I had this when I was a student! For anyone at Dalhousie or SMU, this is a must-have. You can record a whole lecture and get a full transcript to study from later, ensuring you never miss a crucial detail for your exams.* Capturing Spontaneous Ideas: This is where it shines. I was just walking along the waterfront this morning when a brilliant idea for a project popped into my head. Instead of fumbling to type it into my phone, I just tapped the pin and spoke my thoughts. No more great ideas lost to the wind.* Important Phone Calls: I used it to record a call with customer service to sort out a complicated billing issue. Having a perfect transcript of the conversation, including confirmation numbers and names, is incredibly powerful and saves a massive headache.* Personal Voice Journal: At the end of the day, I take a couple of minutes to just talk about what happened, what I'm thinking, or what I need to do tomorrow. The AI organizes my rambling thoughts into a neat, summarized journal entry. It’s an amazing tool for mental clarity and planning. This device is the real deal. It's an easy five stars from me!

I can't believe, but I think it is more time saving than my Swiss Army Knife...
Excellent, really helpful. Everyone I show wants to have one and some bought too. Alao helpful to keep beside the bed at night.Just be careful, the first day I got it I initially thought the button wasn't working, I contacted support and they responded quickly, then I realised the button isn't touch button, it is haptic so you need to press firmly. Then it works every single time. Once I was in the lab recording, I asked AI to report the values so ChatGPT can plot it. It did that very accurately as with all meeting notes and summaries. From meeting notes to random quick daily notes to lab sessions which normally would have taken an hour not 5 minutes just because I would need to stop to write values... Sound quality is good. I used to doubt "did it record, what if it didn't." I realise that by two months, it is gone.Been using it for two months now. Battery lasts crazy long, camel in a desert! I think I charged it maybe 2-3 times and most power drain was due to me accidentally pressing the button in armband mode then letting it record whatever I snored all night:)Lanyard is my favourite way to wear so far. Armband is better in the gym. And I couldn't trust on the magnetic ones because I am fast paced and clumsy, so I felt like I might drop it. So, I am not using those.
