Absolutely recommend this product! I have to say I was a bit skeptical about this product and its claimed effectiveness and ease. It is all true! First, there is no smell, at all. No more soaking a cotton ball in acetone and wrapping in aluminum foil, which not only smells terrible but it also dehydrates the skin. The liquid is not quite a liquid and a bit hard to describe. It is a bit clumpy and it does not glide smoothly like nail polish would. I followed the instructions of first filing off the top coat (although I did it very gently to see how well it would work) and dabbed on the product on the nail surface and the cuticle. I waited the indicated 5 minutes even though after a minute the polish seemed to be peeling up already. I took off the polish by using the plastic edge of a cuticle pusher and I saw the residue dark pinkish color left behind as one would expect with dark red nail polish. I applied the product again to each nail before I moved onto the next one. By the time I came back around, the dark pink residue wiped right off. The skin was not dehydrated, the nail was clean, and after a customary wash, the nail was ready to receive its new treatment. After using this product, I will never go back to acetone and foil ever again. With two bottles per package, I suspect I will have this product for a while before needing to reorder.
