Good quality braces that feel strong and well made. The metal clips grip securely and the 3.5 cm width gives good support without feeling uncomfortable. They are easy to adjust and stay in place well throughout the day. Good value for the price.

I have never worn braces before and I was a bit sceptical about it. I'm usually a belt wearer, but the trousers I have don't come with belt loops. I have to say it was a pleasant experience and they are really comfortable to wear. I purchased these for £4.99, I didn't want to spend a lot on something I was unsure of. The braces clip on very easily and securely to the waistline of the trousers, and the grip is really great. I did try to pull them off without undoing them, mainly out of paranoia, I didn't want to be out and about and the braces came loose and smacked me in the gob, that would be very embarrassing! I found these easy to adjust, simply open the clamps and slide down or up until they feel comfortable to wear. I think these look pretty cool, but if you're wearing a jumper or jacket, who's going to know?! I purchased the black ones, however, I will be purchasing some more braces in the future and I am sure I will get more adventurous with the colours, but for now I am good with black. I have to say the overall quality of these braces are fantastic and more than worthy of the price tag.

The only problem is that the metallic clips do not have enough clearance for the straps so then the straps are being damaged.

I bought a dark blue pair of these as my belt is no longer effective. They are comfortable and better than a too tight belt. Have bought some sandy coloured ones as well

For some this may be a good purchase. In my opinion the product is mostly for "one-time use", that is: Clip-on, adjust and then forget forever. Be aware that the front clips are manufactured in the cheapest possible way, which means that they can not easily be adjusted while wearing (i.e. while on the move or in public). This means that you may have to take the garmet off in order to adjust, and you probably do not want to move the suspenders from one garmet to another (for the same reason, i.e. adjusting the length). In my opinion this is a serious drawback for my intended use (workwear), but may fit well with other uses. Also, the straps are a bit to the narrow side for workwear where they need to support is a bit heavier load. It may not be a problem for formalwear. Finally: I have just started using them, but my intuition is that the straps will not wear well over time. They do not have that 'quality' feeling. I expect them to strech and/or crack. Time will tell. Overall: They do the job for now, but I would not consider bying another pair.
