I purchased two nine foot navy three-tier umbrellas, this brand, six years ago...yes, they lasted me for six years! I left them out 365 days a year. No problems with the raising/lowering mechanisms whatsoever! This year, some of the elastic holders had broken, but it was actually still usable...set them by my curb for trash pickup, but a passerby picked them up first! As I said, still usable! Somewhat faded, but guys, six years! I had promised myself two TEN FOOT navy three tier umbrellas for replacement and I tried to order the same ones, different size. So I hit "buy again" and they were unavailable, but suggested others. So I purchased two of these and love them just as much. They are the same, but this updated model has better canopy material and I can actually sit under them in the rain, as the tiers overlap each lower tier and this material is really water repellent. These are also $25.00 less expensive (times two equals $50). I will say they are not as exactly as described in that they have no long silver peg attached for stability but I rarely used the last ones anyway, and they do not have Velcro straps but I don't want to attach lights, so no problem there either. I love them and hope they last like the last ones did. Can't recommend this brand enough!

This umbrella is an absolute necessity for a windy pool deck or outdoor patio! We've tried several other umbrellas that can't even compare to this one's ability to withstand winds. We typically have winds 15+ knots and it's no problem at all. Just make sure the base is held in place tightly and the shade will let the wind cut right though. Materials are all strong and it looks great. Don't pass on this one if you're on the fence.

Sun fades quick, about 1 summer is the length it will last. I purchased the dark grey to match the rest of our deck. The design looks greqt and it is well built

Very good quality, withstands a lot of wear & tear from the outdoor elements. High wind will take of with it if it’s not properly anchored

Works as described. I’ve had it all summer and it’s opened and closed smoothly with no problems. I think it’s faded a little but not a lot due to sitting in full sun. No problems with wind because it’s sits firmly in the right size base (people need to understand that.).

Well made, nice style, and holds up to the wind.
