This is worth every penny
Glad I purchased the Firm Up. It is definitely better to get the large bag from a price perspective. I wish they made the cranberry and pumpkin in this size. My puppy came home on Diamond Naturals Puppy food, we have since switched him to Taste of the Wild and there were no issues, we didn't even gradually do it, we did it cold turkey with a 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin along with a 1/2 teaspoon of Honest Kitchen base mix. He is only 10 weeks old and he had no stomach issues and his puppy poop has been firm and easy to pick up. I will always keep a bag of this on hand and honestly we don't use the full serving so it will last us quite a bit. We mixed it in with his food and he is a happy puppy. Orange poop but happy... UPDATE 5/11/17 Our puppy is now 9 months old and has been getting a teaspoon of pumpkin at each meal since he was 8 weeks old (he is a mini schnauzer 14 Pounds). He has never had any loose stools or anal gland issues. His poop is still orange and easy to pick up. This really does work. We have even varied his food cold turkey with no issues. It is well worth the price. We are still using the same bag we purchased back in October and it will likely last us through this year in October.

Great for dogs- Been buying for years
I’ve been buying this for years for my dogs. It’s a limited ingredient ( only pumpkin & apple pectin) supplement that you can sprinkle right on your dogs food and it helps firm up stool. We’ve tried many foods over the years, changing from kibble, to canned, and freeze dried raw, and I always add this because I notice the difference in stool consistency if I don’t use it. The stool always tends to be softer when I don’t use it, regardless of food, so I believe this works as it says it does. This is something we use daily and my dogs love it. I’ve never had an issue with them not loving this as a topper on their food. I like that you can just sprinkle it on the food, and for the unused amount remaining in the bag, I clip the bag and also keep it in a ziplock bag to keep it fresh. One suggestion I have is compare the cost per ounce. They offer different sized bags: trial, 4 oz, 16 oz. I typically pay around $28 for the larger 16 ounce bag and it lasts awhile. If you will be using daily, or have multiple dogs, it usually saves you money buying the larger bag. I keep this saved in my Amazon cart so I can notice if it goes on sale. Shop different retailers to compare pricing too. For reference, the past few years I’ve gotten the 16 oz bags on sale for $24, and I’ve seen the same bag at my local retailer for $37, so cost is all over the place & can vary. Recommended for- dogs of all ages, all sizes/ breeds. Love Diggin Your Dog. 😁🐶

It stops diarrhea after the first application!
I was traveling and my 8 month old 90 pound puppy got diarrhea!! Good grief, Really!! Went to a locally owned pet store , explained my misfortune and the young guy handed me this. Mixed with warm rice and rice water and helped do the trick. I liked it so much, I have it on hand and even told my Vet about it. My pup seems to do this whenever to travel 4 or 5 hours in the car. So now I know what to do to make both of us comfortably. Highly recommend!! It’s more organic, and it seems like it’s just crushed pumpkin with a kick!

Works wonderful!
My puppy has had the runs since we got him and the vet can’t find anything wrong with him. He is now 9 months and the problem is still there. The vet recommended this product and in only 2 days he was going normal. Completely normal. It’s made out of dried apples and pumpkins and it works wonders. He likes the way that it tastes and after he goes his energy level seems to go way up. It is quite pricey but completely worth it, I’ll keep using it forever if I need to. It has improved my dogs health so much and he is not a small dog to have sick at all.

1 lb bag is the best buy, but even BIGGER price jump
The dry flakes are way more convenient than canned pumpkin, last a long time, and no worries about refrigeration or freezing canned pumpkin. I have been using this product for my miniature poodle for a while, 10+ yrs and the 1 pound bag is the best buy . The only complaint I have is the big price jump. Otherwise I would give five stars. Update. Product works fine, better than canned, but I really hate the big price jump. Going to look around to see if I can get a better buy on something similar. Update: November 22, 2024, I last bought it in July, now it is quite a bit more in price on the actual website. It is 44+ dollars I think I paid around 36 when I purchased in July. I think I may switch to canned pumpkin at this point and go through the hassle because it’s going to be cheaper now. On average, I can get 12 cans of organic pumpkin for around $36 so I don’t have to buy it all at once and I will just start freezing it like I used too many years ago. Don’t know how much Apple pectin is in This dry flake firm up product, my dog gets some every day and most of the time, his stool is perfect but he also gets a little bit of super poop in a jar by Vet promise that probably helps also. I’m just gonna see how the can pumpkin does at this point. In general, poodles are prone to digestive issues, as was my standard poodle 60 pounds, who died 13 years ago. My current 24 pound large mini poodle has been on this. Poodles seem to get stomach issues a lot it seems.
