So far very good. If you getting this to use immediatly, just know it does have to stand units upright position for 24hrs for the refrigerant to all settle down after shipment. Makes great ice. No weird taste. I use the tablet ice machine cleaner sold on Amazon. Recommended to clean weekly. Takes very little time.

I was trying to use a vinegar spray & scrub , and it wasn't really working to get the mildew smell that happens if water is left in the ice maker for too long. So, I purchased the Bellaluce Tablets, and gave them a try. It works its magic, and the mildew smell is gone. I know now that if the ice maker has water left in it for a day or two, I can use one of these tabs, toss it in the machine, and walk away knowing that it's doing the hard work for me.

Easy and effective way to clean your ice machine. The longest part is running the machine for two cycles after using the tablet. Once the process is done, you end up with beautiful ice cubes.

When you have a counter top ice machine you need to clean it about once a week, depending on how often you use it. These cleaner tablets are the easiest way to make sure you get everything really clean. You just have to dissolve the tablet, add it to the water and run a couple of turns of ice. It doesn't take long at all. I find I still have to give the corners an extra swipe to finish up, but I use my machine every day. It is the best solution I have found.

Tablets clean the hard to reach at the back of the machine where the prongs are. After cleaning the machine, ice comes out clearer.
