DampRid Hi-Capacity Moisture Absorber Bucket, Fragrance Free, 2 lb. 15.5 oz. & Moisture Detection Strip (2 Pack), Attracts & Traps Excess Moisture

Bought these for my daughter after they has water in the basement. It helped pull the remaining moisture out and got rid of the smell that was bothering them.

We have placed these in every closet and it pulls most of the moisture. These are so much better than the older style that had sandy material in the bottom part.

We bought two of these from a local seller and need to more. This was the fastes and easiest, not to mention cheapest re-purchase. No leakage, as long as you are careful, it's safe. Keep the lid for disposal. We put it on a basement shelf, it's unobtrusive and works.

These are really great for dampness in the basement.

I use this regularly in my basement and in our outdoor utility area where we store gardening and lawn equipment and supplies. I put one out and then set a reminder to check it every 3 months. It really does work and help keep things from getting musty or mildewy or smelling. We used to have issues during the rainy spring and wet fall but no longer. These work great. Once they are full you can just put the lid back on and toss them and set out new ones. I've never had one leak, never had a mess from one, and no other issues. I LOVE it is fragrance free to and those are hard to find. Hope this helps.
