Fast, Precise, and Reliable Double Induction Cooktop. My New Primary Cooking Surface
I bought the double cooktop because my gas burner was too slow. I had previously tried the single NuWave unit and liked it, so I upgraded to the double version. It now sits on top of my gas range, which I disconnected, and has been my primary cooktop for exactly three months of daily use to the day. Pros: - Heats up instantly and is much faster than gas or traditional electric, with precise temperature control for consistent, repeatable results - Great for set-it-and-forget-it cooking, ideal for items that do not require stirring like hard boiled eggs - Built-in timer that automatically shuts off the burner when the time is reached - Quiet operation with a low whirring sound during use - Simple, intuitive touch controls Cons: - Requires induction compatible cookware, pots and pans must be magnetic, aluminum does not work - High power draw, I have had it trip a circuit breaker when running both burners along with another appliance like an electric kettle Overall: This is a great option for anyone who wants fast heat and precise control to get cooking done quicker. It is especially useful if you are looking for a faster alternative to gas or traditional electric cooking. The main drawbacks are the need for compatible cookware and the higher power draw. If your kitchen outlets or circuits cannot handle the load, you may run into issues when using both burners along with other appliances. Once I switched to induction, I never looked back. It is better in every way.

Worth every penny.
This thing is amazing works absolutely amazing for what I need and heats up incredibly fast. I have used gas my whole life and I feel like this thing heats up and cooks faster than gas. My only complaint is the fans are a bit loud but Iโll get used to it. Itโs well made and easy to clean just use your spray degreaser wipe it dry then use some glass cleaner/windex donโt waste your money on those expensive bottles of induction cooktop cleaner spray itโs basically just glass cleaner. Also another trick if you have anything thatโs cooked on the top and you canโt wipe it off. Use a razor blade for box cutters and scrape it off very carefully not to cut yourself or scratch the surface go slow. It works great for me to always get the surface super shiny and clean. Go buy yourself one you wonโt be sorry.

Highly recommend this induction cooktop !
LOVE IT! I have a high end Dacor gas range in the home that we moved into a year ago. Itโs a great stove, works perfectly, but I am a huge fan of induction stoves for countless reasons (precision heating, ability to have ultra low or boil instantly, safety, utility cost of use, lack of heat into the homeโฆ). I put a fireproof cover over my range (also bought on Amazon) and replaced my whole cooktop with these 2 burners. I figure that generally I donโt use more than 2 anyway ! Iโm thrilled. This 2 burners NuWave induction cooktop is excellent. Rivals my previous very expensive induction cooktops Iโve had in other homes for a fraction of cost. Iโve found that I can even use it like a โslow cookerโ because of the range of temperature control. I couldnโt be happier with this item. Disclaimer - I also have countless other NuWave small appliances so I am a bit of an overall fan !๐

Broken after 3 months. Can't maintain temp.
UPDATE: After about 3 months of usage it is now wildly inaccurate. Just 1 of many examples: Setting to medium heat swings the heat from 150 - 550 degrees. Burning food constantly. With this unit having no visual confirmation if it's actually heating, I had to add a watt meter to it so I can visually see when it begins to fail. Sometimes after this wild temperature swings it refuses to heat the burner again until I reboot it. Probably going into protect mode. Doesn't matter the pan, pot or contents. Sometimes at max power trying to boil water it'll just cycle off and sit not doing anything for minutes. In the photos you can see the temp after burning a pancake in about 20 seconds. In the other you can see how it turns off and refuses to reheat not even cooking the next pancake. To get through breakfast I had to constantly click the med and med high buttons to toggle the burner on/off manually. Hopefully their support will be helpful. ORIGINAL: Pros + Heats fast + Pretty quiet fans. A lot quieter than the Duxtop it replaces + Pretty low profile so it sits on-top my old electric glass top without adding too much height + easy to keep clean with absolutely no knobs or grooves + just fits two decent sizes pans at the same time + handles heat much better than the Duxtop which over heated quickly + normal induction advantages, quick, doesnโt heat up the kitchen/house Cons - canโt tell if itโs on or off - shaking or moving pans easily changes the heat settings - quick temp settings are pretty pointless So the unit works great overall. Quick & powerful. It handles high heat well. It canโt quite do a flat bottom wok heat but itโs close enough where i still use my wok daily. It will get the wok pretty hot and just maintain that temp. My old Duxtop in comparison was loud and was always cutting out due to its low heat tolerance. Small pans empty pans and the wok would always trigger the protect switch and shut down. The annoyances arenโt major but pretty common and require extra supervision. There is a power switch to turn the whole unit on. But there are also switches for each burner. The fan turns on for each burner when on. But besides that there is no easy way to tell if itโs on. With an overhead kitchen fan on you canโt even hear the unit fans. Since the unit will cycle power to get to the desired heat temp it sometimes looks like itโs off. Combine that with how stupid easy it is for the buttons to get pressed by your hand, utensils, or the pans and Iโm constantly having to lift pans on and off the unit to determine if itโs still on. Iโve had instances where the pan or utensils bumped the button and turned it off without me knowing. Also the way the number buttons work is ridiculous. If your burner is at 275 degrees and you bump any number button it puts that number at the end and removes the first number. So 275, accidentally slide the pan over the 3 and now your burner is at 753 degrees. Who thought this was a good idea?? This adds an extra level of stress and double checking that a simple knob would easily fix. Plus all the preset button are almost useless. You can replace over a dozen buttons on each burner with 1 knob.

Great product at a great price
Absolutely gorgeous and built with quality in mind! I have the single induction cooktop and it cooks so well, temperature accuracy is amazing, heats pans very quickly. I had to have the double induction cooktop. Love the fact that it has an On/Off button so you donโt have to unplug it. Great product at a great price and comes with 5 year warranty as long as you register it.

Good product.
Has a hard time bringing water to a boil when using both sides.

a versatile progressive new idea. not perfect but safer and smaller.
Great for one or two people who dont want to cook every meal. i got rid of my gas oven and stovetop and bought this induction burner instead. It is taking some getting used to, because so far on medicum or medium high the soup or pudding boils pretty quickly. I'd like to have a slower burn but maybe i have to start ... lower... Well it's a process. but I was glad to make the space in my kitchen - and without fire i can cook my food pretty much anywhere. Even next to the window! It's fantastic. the new world!

Wouldn't be without it
Love the "no heat" cooking in the summer. One of the best purchases I've ever made. You won't be sorry. My enameled cast iron loves my NuWave, match made in heaven.
