YMDK Cherry Profile Thick PBT Top Print Ergodox Keycap Set for Ergo Ergodox Keyboard (Only Keycap)

A steal at this price. It's not easy to find ErgoDox keycap kits. Most sets have to be bought in multiple sets (one set for the common keys, another for the various modifiers). Most are ABS instead of PBT, and the PBTs out there (such as by Signature Plastics) are not as thick and precisely molded as these appear to be. Lastly, you're going to spend about 3-4x the price, or more, to complete a full set elsewhere.I wish there were a dark color set to choose from. The white set looks fine, but I fear they will one day stain. A dark gray set would be perfect. It would also be nice to have the alphanumeric keys laser etched, but that would prevent alternative layouts such as Colemak.There was a missing "R1" white key missing which I have contacted the seller about. The set I received has all gray single buttons for the thumb area, rather than 6 gray and 2 white. Again, not a huge deal. At the price, I'm amazed at the quality. Thanks for putting this set together.

Not many places still sell Ergodox keycap sets, so it was nice to have an option that wasn't all a uniform profile like DCS, or ZSA's keyset which is all R3 keys. One thing I was surprised to find was that the top two rows were R3 -- something I failed to recognize in the listing images. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, however as I was planning on swapping the alphas with another cherry profile set this came as a surprise. It would have been nice if the top row was R4, but it's not that big of a deal.Another thing to note, the keycap stem is incredibly tight. So tight in fact that it literally pulls the switches out with the keycap when I attempt to remove it. I have a hot-swappable board so it's not that big of a deal, but it's somewhat annoying.

First off, the company was awesome when I first ordered these and they were lost by the shippers - gave me a refund easily and promptly, and would have just replaced them except I had ordered the last they had in stock.So, when they came back in stock, I ordered again, and they made it this time. They feel really nice to type on, and they hold much more securely to the key switches than the previous caps I was using that I had pulled from an old mechanical gaming keyboard. And they look nice, to boot. :) Highly recommend.

Not the best feeling key caps by any means, feel a little light and cheap but it's so hard to find replacement keycaps for this layout. Happy with the purchase.

Keyset feels solid, and is sculpted for the ergodox layout, but that means you should be careful taking them out of the bag! Many of the blank keys look similar but are slightly different, so it can be easy to mess them up, especially if you are mix and matching.The keys come in sleeves for each row. I suggest doing them one at a time.

I'm very happy with this keycap set. This was one of the few, or only, Ergodox keycap sets available on Amazon at the time that I purchased them. I was happy with the color of the keycaps as they are a very light gray and a medium gray. I was a little worried that they were straight white based on other comments.There is a small amount of cleanup on the bottom of a few keys from the plastic sprue, but the mold lines overall are very good.They arrived early, which was a nice surprise (although I wouldn't rely on it).I would definitely order them again if I want replacements or to make a new keyboard.

Plastic is decently thick. Slightly darker than I expected, which is nice. Good keycaps for a good price. No surprises.

Used them to switch out the default printed caps of my Ergodox EZ. Not only are they about a quarter of the price of a original Ergodox EZ replacement set, I also really like the feel of the cherry profile.

Really good. And really ‘thick’ PBT. Makes a difference, feel and sound much better than some cheaper PBT sets on here
